Mehdi Rajabian Returned to Evin Prison by the End of His Furlough

HRANA News Agency – On December 4, Mehdi Rajabian who had been sent to furlough after a month of hunger strike, had to return to Evin Prison without completing his medical treatment. At the same time his brother Hossein Rajabian suffers from infection and kidney pain in the prison.

Female Supporters of Mohammad Ali Taheri Beaten and Charged in Evin Court

HRANA News Agency – On December 13, a group of female supporters of Mohammad Ali Taheri, were arrested after voluntarily submitting themselves to Evin prison for three times and were charged with “disturbing public order”. They protested against their charges and exile after being transferred to the prison in Rey (Gharchak) and were beaten by the prison officers.

Fatemeh Musana’s Children at the Brink of Homelessness

HRANA News Agency – Fatemeh Musana, a former political prisoner in the 1980s, was arrested in 2012 again and along with her husband they were sentenced to 15 years imprisonment. His three brothers were executed in the 1980s and while she was only 13 years old, she in the prison along with her mother for 2 and 4 years in the first decade of the Islamic Republic. Fatemeh Musana and her husband, Hassan Sadeghi are currently in prison and businesses of Mr. Sadeghi and their house is being confiscated, which will cut off the source of their income as well as their elderly mother’s and the teenager children’s income and take away their shelter.

Behnam Mosivand; Beaten, Harassed and Deprived of Proper Medical Treatment

HRANA News Agency – Behnam Mosivand, sick political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison was beaten and harassed with handcuffs and shackles, while being sent to the hospital on wheelchair because of not wearing prison uniform on December 12. Although he eventually was sent to the hospital but he was returned to prison again without receiving the necessary medical services.

Arash Sadeghi’s Father Denies All Allegations Against His Son

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi’s father in an interview with HRANA announced that the confessions of his son in a video which had been released at the media in Iran were false and the confessions were taken from the prison and under the threat of execution. On the other hand, Arash Sadeghi is still held in prison despite the prosecutor’s claim about sending him to the hospital. He was breathing by the oxygen device at night on January 4, 2017. Doctors had announced the prison system and Iranian Revolutionary Guards had prevented them from sending the prisoner to a hospital.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Arash Sadeghi, political prisoner in ward eight of Evin prison due to shortness of breath and blood pressure of 6 to 8 was transferred to the prison infirmary. Prosecution Officials Refuse to Extend Golrokh Irai’s Furlough

HRANA News Agency – Prosecution officials refused to extend Golrokh Irai’s furlough, after her lawyer went to this office, on the other hand, for Arash Sadeghi a leave permission, with providing a title deed, was issued, but the condition of sending him to the hospital, is that his wife returns to the prison. Also, deterioration of Arash Sadeghi’s condition in Evin prison continues and he was transferred to the prison infirmary.

Arash Sadeghi Transferred to the Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi was transferred to the hospital and was admitted there four days after ending his 72-day long protesting hunger strike. On the other hand, contrary to the promises, Prosecutor’s Office has rejected extending his wife’s furlough and she has been summoned to endure her imprisonment.

HRANA News Agency – Zartosht (Esmaeil) Ahmadi Ragheb, civil rights activist who had been arrested in November, was released on the bail from Evin prison.
