HRANA News Agency – 6 political activists have been arrested on April 9, 2014 at their homes in Shahriar in Karaj.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hassan Ebrahimi, Mehdi Ebrahimi, Mohammadreza Zabihi, Manuchehr Yousefi, Somayye Khalili and Mahin Sayyar Sharabi have been arrested on charge of supporting “Rights and Justice Organization” which is a political organization having different interpretations of Islam. Arjang Davoodi in bad health condition
HRANA News Agency – Arjang Davoodi is suffering from high blood sugar and lipid and has not received proper medical treatment yet.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Arjang Davoodi has been serving 10 years so far and was recently sentenced to death because of his activities inside the prison. He realized that he is suffering from high blood sugar and lipid while he was transferred to the clinic but because the devices at Rajai Shahr Prison are not working he has not received proper medical treatment yet. Mohsen Barzgar beaten by a criminal at Mati Kala Prison in Babol
HRANA News Agency – Mohsen Barzgra, political prisoner, was beaten at the prison of Babol.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), a dangerous criminal prisoner attacked Mohsen Barzgar after insulting him. 64-year old Sunni prisoner in critical condition
HRANA News Agency – Prison officials at Iran’s Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj have prevented a 64-year old Sunni prisoner from receiving adequate medical care despite his rapidly deteriorating health condition.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Sunni prisoner of conscience Keykhosro Sharifipour has been suffering from an unknown illness since 6 August 2014, and has been unable to eat for at least 15 days. A number of prisoners killed and wounded in a revolt in Qezel Hesar
HRA News Agency – Following a revolt in Karaj, Qezel Hesar prison, when families of the prisoners who were sentenced to death aggregated outside the prison, a number of prisoners were wounded and killed in fight with security forces.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on 17th August, after a group of prisoners who were sentenced to death were transferred for execution, prisoners from unit 1 and unit 2 wards 2 and 3 of Qezel Hesar prison revolt and fought with prison guards and security forces. Security unit in the prison used firearms to control violence and prisoners’ protest, which led to the killing and wounding a number of prisoners. Prison guards raided ward 350 of Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Following transfer of 75 prisoners from ward 350 to quarantine of ward 7 of Evin prison, on Wednesday evening 12th August, 10 security guards raided ward 350 inspecting with violence and destruction and theft some stuff of Prisoner of Conscience in this ward.
