A Report on 9 Prisoners with Life Imprisonment Sentences

HRANA News Agency – Seven political prisoners with a life sentence in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, have been held since 12 to 23 years ago without furlough in the prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), seven political prisoners, namely Mohammad Nazari, Karim Maroof Aziz, Omar Faghihpour, Khaled Fereidoni, Said Masouri, Afshin Baymany and Hamzeh Savari, respectively, have been held for 23, 20, 17, 16, 16, 16 and 12 years and have a total of 120 years of imprisonment. Afshin Baymany Transferred to the Heart Hospital

HRANA News Agency – On September 10, Afshin Baymany, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj was sent to Tehran Heart Hospital.

HRANA News Agency – Afshin Baymany, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison who suffers from heart disease and is at the risk of a heart attack, has deliberately been deprived of medical services by judicial and security authorities.

Political Prisoners on Hunger Strike in Different Prisons

HRANA News Agency – Political prisoners such as Seyed Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, Amir Amrgholi, Saeed Shirzad, Afshin Baymany, Masoud Arabchobdar, Farid Azmodeh, Iraj Hatami, Behzad Tarahomi, Saleh Pychganloo, Mostafa Parvin, Saeed Sadeghifar and Morteza Parvin are on hunger strike in various prisons around the country with various demands. According to prisoners’ families in some cases they refuse to drink water. Hussein Ronaghi maleki’s father is one of those who has begun strike in support of his son in front of Evin Prison.

The List Of Over 80 Political Prisoners In Rajai Shahr Prison In Karaj

HRANA News Agency – The following list includes names, warrants and charges of more than 80 political prisoners, prisoners of conscience and security in Rajai Shahr prison which has been prepared by the reporters of HRANA.

A diverse range of prisoners charged with political, conscience, military and security allegations are being held in Rajai Shahr prison. Although many of these prisoners are kept in separate rooms in Hall 12 but a large number of these prisoners are being kept also between non-political, criminals and sometimes dangerous prisoners unlike the principle of separation of crimes. 2 political prisoners transferred to Solitary Confinements

HRANA News Agency – There is no news about Afshin Baymany and Arjang Davoodi since Sunday that they were transferred to solitary confinement in Sepah ward.

Arjang Davoodi on hunger strike in solitary confinement

HRANA News Agency- Afshin Baymany has just returned from solitary confinement into the ward but Arjang davoodi remains in solitary confinement on hunger strike and without his essential medicines.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on 8th November, Afshin Baimani, and Arjang Davoodi on 9th November were transferred to solitary confinement. (more…)
