Sunni prisoners on day 71st of hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – After more than 70 days of hunger strike and by worsening of the physical condition of Sunni prisoners, they have been forced to have serum injection in prison clinic.

HRANA News Agency – The families of 4 Sunni prisoners have started hunger strike, in solidarity with the prisoners who are on strike in response to their death sentences.

4 Sunni prisoners on day 63 of hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – 3 Sunni prisoners of Ghezelhesar who are on their 63rd day of hunger strike have gone unconscious due to physical weakness.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Jamshid Dehghani, Kamal Moulayi and Hamed Ahmadi are the three Sunni prisoners who are on hunger strike since two months ago. The Sunni hunger strikers deprived of having lawyer

HRANA News Agency – The revolutionary court rejected a request made by a human right activist lawyer, who wanted to take the advocacy of six Sunni prisoners.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), one of the human right activist lawyers who wanted to undertake the advocacy of six Sunni prisoners of Ghezelhesar prison, confronted with refusal after going to branch number 28 of revolutionary court, preside by judge Mogheysehei.

 

The lawyer, who asked to remain unknown, went to the court by the request of the families of prisoners.

 

He said to HRANA’s reporter: “The judge did not allow any appointed lawyer to review the case, just by the excuse of security and confidential reasons. Even though, there is no corporation with selective lawyers of these prisoners and their families. The request of the prisoners is just to have appointed attorneys in an open trial. Apparently, the prisoner’s reason for hunger strike is their unfair and without the principles of justice trial and a fair trial could end their hunger strike.”

 

An informed source said to HRANA’s reporter: “This is the third time that the court rejected the appointed attorneys. First time, two months after arrest, the appointed attorney had been threatened in the court and has not appeared in court again. Next time, a famous criminal lawyer was appointed but he has not had the access to case.”

 

Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Moulayi, Jamshid Dehghani and Jahangir Dehghani are in hunger strike from Monday, November 4, in response to deliberate violence to Separation of the crime act and the their death sentences.

A judicial authority visited the Sunni hunger strikers

HRANA News Agency – “Toorag” the political deputy prosecutor of Tehran and Evin prison’s chairperson has visited the prisoners who are on hunger strike.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the political deputy prosecutor of Tehran and Evin prison’s court chairperson, with the name of Toorag, visited the Sunni prisoners for the first time during last 57 days and practically negotiated with them. HRANA News Agency – The six Sunni prisoners of Ghezelhesar prison, who were sentenced to death, are suffering from disturbed vision and kidney bleeding, on their 55th days of hunger strike.
