Fourteen Executions in Iran Reported on December 10

HRANA – Yesterday, Wednesday, December 10, HRANA reported the execution of thirteen prisoners on charges of murder and drug-related offenses. Heirkani also reported the execution of one prisoner in Lakan Prison in Rasht.

According to HRANA, on this day, the following individuals were executed:

Sohail Hamidi, on a murder charge, in Mahabad Prison;

Noormohammad Shabani, on a murder charge, in Sabzevar Prison;

Mohammadkarim Siadi, on a murder charge, in Shahr-e Kord Prison;

Nemat Behiraei, on a murder charge, in Bushehr Prison;

Kourosh Sabzi, on drug-related charges, in Kashmar Prison;

Reza Sabzi, on a murder charge, in Malayer Prison;

Hassan Morad Haqi, on drug-related charges, in Damghan Prison;

An Afghan national, identity unknown, on drug-related charges, in Chabahar Prison;

Two prisoners, including a woman, in Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad on murder charges; HRANA has confirmed the identity of the woman as Elnaz Azizi.

Three prisoners in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz on drug-related charges; HRANA has confirmed the identity of one of them as Khoda-Bakhsh Elyasi.

Additionally, according to Hyrcani News, a prisoner named Mehrdad Mirzaei, 38 years old, was executed in Lakan Prison in Rasht on drug-related charges.

Iran Executes at Least 12 Prisoners Over Three Days Amid Surge in Executions

HRANA – Amid an unprecedented rise in executions in recent months in Iran, at least 12 prisoners have been executed over the past three days on charges of murder or drug-related offenses in various prisons across the country.

Tuesday, December 2
HRANA reported the executions of Fariborz Niazi on a murder charge in Malayer Prison; Mohammad Javad Aminpour on a murder charge in Ardabil Prison; Aziz Sheikhi on drug-related charges in Ferdows Prison; and Malek Gerayi on a murder charge in Ilam Prison.

According to HRANA, on this date the following executions were carried out:
Manouchehr Ahmadi, on a murder charge in Borazjan Prison
Mehran Chaboksavar, on a murder charge in Neyshabur Prison
Amin Mahdavi, on a murder charge in Mahshahr Prison
Majid Namjou, on a murder charge in Bushehr Prison
Siavash Khosravi, on drug-related charges in Kashan Prison
Saber Zahedi, on drug-related charges in Shahr-e Kord Prison
Karam Khoda Sepehri, on drug-related charges in Bojnourd Prison

Thursday, December 4
On this day, HRANA reported the executions of Rahim Mansouri, on a murder charge in Kashmar Prison, and Hossein Ali Yeganeh, on drug-related charges in Birjand Prison.

From the beginning of this year until the end of November, 2025, the Iranian regime has executed 1,594 people, marking an unprecedented increase compared to previous years.

Five Prisoners Executed in Multiple Iranian Prisons

HRANA – Over the past two days, November 26 and 27, HRANA reported the execution of five prisoners in various prisons across Iran as follows:

On Wednesday, November 26:
HRANA reported the execution of a prisoner named Saeed Khani on drug-related charges in Malayer Prison.
On the same day, Ali Amini was executed on a murder charge in Bukan Prison, and Mehdi Kaabi was executed on drug-related charges in Borazjan Prison.

On Thursday, November 27:
According to HRANA, officials in Mahshahr Prison carried out the execution of a prisoner named Ali Mahini. Based on information obtained by HRANA, this prisoner had previously been arrested on a murder charge and later sentenced to death by a criminal court.
Also on this day, Sharif Jaberi was hanged in Saveh Prison on a murder charge.

As of the time of this report, the executions of these prisoners have not been announced by prison officials or the responsible authorities.

From the beginning of this year until the end of October, the Iranian regime has executed 1,286 people, marking an unprecedented increase compared to previous years.

Eight Prisoners Executed Across Iran Over the Past Four Days

HRANA has reported the execution of eight prisoners across various prisons in Iran over the past four days. Six of the executed individuals had been sentenced to death on drug-related charges, and two for murder.

On Saturday, November 1, the death sentence of a prisoner in Bojnurd Prison was carried out. HRANA has identified this prisoner as Hashem Mardani. According to information obtained by HRANA, Mr. Mardani had previously been arrested on charges of murder and later sentenced to death by the Criminal Court.

On Sunday, November 2, Mohammad Ali Golmohammadi, a prisoner convicted of drug-related offenses, was executed in Malayer Prison. On the same day, the execution of an Afghan national named Khodayar (last name unknown), who had also been sentenced to death for drug-related crimes, was carried out in Taybad Prison. Another prisoner, Abbas Sad-Kharvi, was executed in Sabzevar Prison. All three had been sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court.

On Monday, November 3, Varahmad Azizi was executed in Birjand Prison on drug-related charges. That same day in Zanjan Prison, another death-row prisoner convicted of murder was hanged.

On Tuesday, November 4, the death sentences of two prisoners previously convicted of drug-related offenses were carried out in Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan. HRANA has identified one of them as Amir Goudarzi.

At the time of this report, the executions of these prisoners have not been announced by prison officials or other relevant authorities.

Report on the Execution of a Prisoner in Malayer Prison

HRANA – At dawn on Monday, October 27, a prisoner previously sentenced to death on murder charges was executed in Malayer Prison.

The identity of the prisoner executed at dawn on Monday, October 27, has been verified by HRANA as Mostafa Afshar.

According to information obtained by HRANA, Mr. Afshar had been arrested on murder charges and later sentenced to death by the Criminal Court.

As of the time of this report, prison authorities and responsible institutions have not officially announced the execution.

Four Prisoners Executed in Malayer, Sabzevar, Saveh, and Qom Prisons

HRANA- In recent days, four prisoners were executed in the prisons of Malayer, Sabzevar, Saveh, and Qom on charges related to drug offenses and murder.

According to HRANA, on Sunday, October 5, a prisoner identified as Sobhan Najafi was hanged in Malayer Prison, Hamadan Province. Based on information obtained by HRANA, Mr. Najafi had previously been arrested on a murder charge and later sentenced to death by a criminal court.

The following day, a prisoner named Reza Saqaei was executed in Sabzevar Prison, Razavi Khorasan Province, for drug-related offenses. On the same day, another prisoner, whose last name was verified by HRANA as Hosseini, was executed in Saveh Prison on murder charges.

Finally, on Tuesday, October 7, authorities at Qom Prison executed a prisoner identified as Farzad (last name unknown) for drug-related offenses.

As of this report’s publication, none of these executions have been announced by prison officials or judicial authorities.

HRANA – On Monday, September 29, the death sentence of a prisoner who had previously been convicted of murder was carried out in Malayer Prison.

HRANA has confirmed the identity of the prisoner hanged at dawn on Monday, September 29, as Hamed Badrabadi, a resident of Malayer.

According to information received by HRANA, Mr. Badrabadi had earlier been arrested on a murder charge and subsequently sentenced to death by the Criminal Court.

As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by prison officials or relevant authorities.

HRANA has identified him as Mohammadali (Mohammad-Ali) Gholizadeh. Based on information obtained by HRANA, Mr. Gholizadeh had earlier been arrested on charges of murder and subsequently sentenced to death by a criminal court.

As of the time of this report, the execution has not been announced by prison officials or judicial authorities.

HRANA has identified the prisoner hanged at dawn on Saturday, July 12, as Jalal Nazarbeigi, a resident of Razan County in Hamadan Province.

According to information obtained by HRANA, Mr. Nazarbeigi had previously been arrested on drug-related charges and later sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court.

As of the time of this report, the execution has not been officially announced by prison authorities or relevant institutions.

Three Prisoners Executed in Malayer, Arak, and Zanjan

HRANA- Over the course of Monday and Tuesday, three prisoners were executed in the prisons of Malayer, Arak, and Zanjan.

According to HRANA, at dawn on Monday, June 9, Mostafa Hajibabaei was executed in Malayer Prison, Hamedan Province, on a murder charge. He had previously been arrested and later sentenced to death by a criminal court for the alleged killing.

HRANA also reported another execution on Tuesday, June 10, in Zanjan Prison. The prisoner has been identified as Mirza Morad Rezaei, a resident of Kuhdasht. Based on information received by HRANA, he had been arrested on drug-related charges and later sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court.

That same day, a prisoner named Ali Rezaei—a father to one daughter and a resident of Khondab—was executed in Arak Prison. He had been arrested approximately six years ago on a murder charge and sentenced to death by a criminal court.

As of the time of this report, none of these executions have been officially confirmed by prison authorities or responsible institutions.
