The 3rd Anniversary of Nikmard Taheri’s Self-Immolation Held on his Tomb
HRANA News Agency – The third anniversary of “Nikmard Taheri”, Yarsany citizen’s self-immolation in protest against the desecration of one of his fellows, was held with attendance of hundreds of Yarsan followers on his tomb. This ceremony was held with reaffirming the demand for recognition of this religion by the audience.

Ali Akbar Baghani Exiled to the City of Zabol
HRANA News Agency – At the same time with the “Teachers day” in Iran, Ali Akbar Baghani, Vice-President of the Teachers Union, who was recently released from prison, in continuation of his sentence was exiled for 10 years to Zabol city in Sistan and Baloochestan province.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ali Akbar Baghani, Vice-President of the Iranian Teachers’ Trade Union, who had been sentenced to one years imprisonment and 10 years exile to Zabol city, in the case of 2010 by branch 26 of the Revolutionary presided by Judge Pir Abbasi, on charges of propaganda against the regime, was sent to exile. Afshin Sohrabzadeh; Getting one Step Closer to Death Every Day
HRANA News Agency – According to the documents that received by HRANA, prison authorities confirmed that Afshin Sohrabzadeh, political prisoner, is diagnosed with clone cancer. The head of the prison has clearly stated that Afshin Sohrabzadeh has survived from death at least once. He emphasizes on the importance of transfer of Afshin Sohrabzadeh to a hospital and also asks that Afshin Sohrabzadeh serves the rest of his sentence in a bigger and more equipped prison. Meanwhile this prisoner needs financial supports from Iranians for continuation of his medical treatment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Afshin Sohrabzadeh political prisoner who is suffering from clone cancer, has survived once from certain death according to the physicians. The head of Minab prison has confirmed his disease and emphasized that he needed to be hospitalized for proper medical treatment in Hormozgan province. However and despite the dangerous condition of this prisoner, he is still in limbo and without medical treatment in Minab prison. At Least 4 Prisoners Hanged In Ghezelhesar Prison In Karaj
HRANA News Agency – The death sentences of at least four prisoners with drug related charges were executed in Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj. Three of these prisoners were kept in Ghezelhesar prison and the other one was kept in Great Prison of Tehran (Fashafooyeh).

Mohammad Akrami Pour Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison
HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Akrami Pour, Sunni prisoner in Rajae Shahr prison in Karaj was sentenced to 15 years in prison after 29 months of uncertainty by branch 28 of Tehran’s revolutionary court without a lawyer.

Fariba Kamalabadi Begins Five-Day Prison Furlough
HRANA News Agency – Fariba Kamalabadi one of the seven “Yaran” (National facilitators for the Bahai community) who are serving ten-year prison sentences as prisoners of conscience, has been granted a five-day leave from prison following the birth of her grandchild.

A Prisoner Has Gone on Hunger Strike in Urmia Prison
HRANA News Agency – Omid Rahmani, one of the financial crimes prisoners in Central Prison of Urmia, has gone on hunger strike to protest against his situation and lack of accountability and the day after he made “plaster cast” on his head. After doing that, he was transferred to the solitary confinement by the prison authorities. This prisoner’s situation has been assessed to be worrying.
