HRANA News Agency – After 9 months of Nahid Gorgi’s detention in Mashhad, there is no information about her charges, her case condition and her whereabouts.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), after the news, regarding Nahid Gorgi’s deprivation from having visitors and phone calls was released in December last year, no new information has been achieved about her. Masoud Bastani Released from Prison after Serving 6 Years

HRANA News Agency – Masoud Moradi Bastani, imprisoned journalist, was released after six years of imprisonment but a bail was demanded for his freedom for disability to pay fines.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), although the duration of Masoud Bastani’s sentence, counting the days of absence, ended on Sunday, 19th July but because of the financial penalty in his case, he was released on a bail. Behnam Ebrahimzadeh Transferred to a Hospital Outside the Prison

HRANA News Agency – Behnam Ebrahimzadeh, imprisoned worker, was transferred to hospital following severity and deterioration in his illness and physical condition.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Behnam Ebrahimzadeh was transferred to Imam Khomeini hospital in Tehran, on Thursday 16th July because of a recurrence of arthritis in the neck, and was returned to the prison after getting some treatment. Prison Guards’ Inspections in Wards 7 & 8 of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – The Special Guard of Evin prison has done a series of unusual inspecting, during recent days, in ward 7 and ward 8, each of which lasted for several hours.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), during the first inspection which began in the early hours of the morning on Thursday 16th July, prison guards woke up the prisoners and sent them into the hall and corridors of the wards and started inspecting prisoners’ stuff. A Report about Dr. Saeed Madani’s Situation in Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Doctor Saeed Madani, sociologist and senior researcher in the social sciences, is spending the fourth year of his sentence in Rajai Shahr prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Doctor Saeed Madani has been sentenced to 9 and a half years imprisonment for two cases and by including his previous detention time, he has spent about 5 years of his sentence. The New Penal Code and the Possibility of Appeal for Drug Related Charges

HRANA News Agency – With proper implementation of the new criminal code, all convicted of drug related charges would find the chance of appeal on their sentences.
According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA)’s legal advisers’ review on the new penal code, the article 32 has have differentiated between the prisoners for asking for appeal. Not only newly convicted drug prisoners can ask for appeal, but under the condition of cancellation of previous law, other prisoners with drug charges can ask for appeal, too. Monthly Report – An Overview of the Human Rights Situation in Iran in May-June, 2015

HRANA News Agency – The Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran has published the following monthly report on the human rights situation in Iran during the period of May-June, 2015 (Persian calendar month of Khordad, 1394). This report cannot perfectly and comprehensively reflect the details of human rights concerns in Iran for obvious reasons including the existing governmental limitations and ban on the free exchange of information. It should be emphasized that in addition to the monthly reports, the Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran publishes a comprehensive and analytical annual report at the end of each year. Video Footage of Civil Activists’ Visit in Saeed Zeinali’s Home

HRANA News Agency – The following video shows a group of civil activists at Saeed Zeinali’s father’s home, who has been lost on 9th July 1999. They were this family’s guest, on the occasion of the sixteenth year of Saeed Zeinali’s disappearance.
