3 Civil Activists Released on the Bail from Tabriz Prison

HRANA News Agency – Rasoul Razavi, one of the detainees of the “Quds Day” was released on the bail from Tabriz Central Prison. Hossein Rakhshani kia and Sevindik Lotfi, had been released over the past days.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), these activists were released temporarily, on a bail of 50 million Tomans, while they had been charged with “propaganda against the regime” and, “disturbing public opinion” by the Court Branch 19, presided by Judge Samadi, in Tabriz. Saeid Shirzad Transferred to Political Prisoners’ Ward

HRANA News Agency – Saeid Shirzad, civil rights activist of Rajaei Shahr prison has been transferred to political prisoners’ ward of this prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this civil rights activist has been transferred to hall number 12 which is dedicated to political prisoners and known as political prisoners’ ward, after repeated requests on July 12. Saeed Shirzad’s Court Session Postponed Once Again

HRANA News Agency – The trial of Saeed Shirzad did not take place, because of him refusing to wear prison uniform and consequently, failure to send him.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Saeed Shirzad was supposed to have a trial in Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court, presided by Judge Salvati, on 15th July, however he was not sent to the court as he refused to wear the prison uniform and despite the presence of his lawyer, the trial did not take place. Jafar Rostami Rad Arrested in Astara

HRANA News Agency – Jafar Rostami Rad, civil activist, was arrested in the morning of 14th July, by the border intelligence agents in city of Astara and after primary interrogation was transferred to the Revolutionary Court in this city.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), this civil activist informed his family of his release on a bail of hundred million Rials, through a phone call, but there is no information about his location, and the possible charges, so far. Former Political Prisoners Visited Mehdi Khodaei

HRANA News Agency – In recent days a number of civil activists and former political prisoners from various parties has visited Mehdi Khodaei, a human rights activist who recently was released from prison after spending five and a half years imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), civil activists and former political prisoners, including Emad Bahavar, Mohsen Mirdamadi, Zahra Mojaradi, Abdollah Momeni, Ahmad Reza Yousefi, Abolfazl Ghadiani, Majid Dorri, Fariborz Rais Dana, Bahman Ahmadi Amoui, Jila Bani Yaqoob, Masoud Pedram, Mohammad Davari, Artin Ghazanfari, Milad Fadaei, a group of former student activists of Azad University and numerous other civil activists during a meeting with Mr. Khodaei, congratulated his freedom and praise his resistance  during the five and a half years in prison. Amin Anvari Sentenced to 30 Months of Suspended Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – Amin Anvari Rostami, student at Amir Kabir University (Polytechnic), has been sentenced to two and a half years suspended imprisonment, by the Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court presided by Judge Ahmadzadeh.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the trial for Amin Anvari Rostami was held in Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court, on 15th July, and this civil activist was sentenced to a total of two and a half years imprisonment on charges of propaganda against the regime, insulting the leadership and insulting regime officials (Misbah Yazdi) on Facebook, which was suspended for 5 years. Burial of Mrs. Muhammadi-far Reveals a New Restriction on Bahais in Iran

HRANA News Agency – On 12 July 2015, a Baha’i, Mrs. Baji Muhammadifar passed away and her family sought a burial permit to inter her body in the Bahai cemetery in Sanandaj.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), this was refused, with the officials insisting that Mrs. Muhammadifar’s body be laid to rest in the Baha’i cemetery in Qorveh, a town located approximately an hour and a half from Sanandaj. Agreeing to burial in Qorveh would have forced the family to ignore the Bahai burial law requiring bodies to be interred within an hour’s journey from the place of death. A Report about Akbar Amini’s Situation in Ward 350 of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – After more than two years of the detention of Akbar Amini Armaki political prisoner in ward 350 of Evin prison, the court’s final decision is undetermined yet.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), after Akbar Amini was sentenced for the second time, while he was in the prison, to 5 years imprisonment, in February 2014, his lawyers appealed and called for the integration of the crime but the result of this request has not been determined yet. Farshid Fathi Will Be Released in December 2015

HRANA News Agency – Farshid Fathi, a Christian pastor will be released from prison, two years earlier than the previous deadline. With application of the integration and Article 134 offenses he will be released in December this year.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), this prisoner of conscience in Rajai Shahr prison, earlier in two cases, was sentenced to a total of seven years imprisonment and was supposed to remain in prison, till October 2017.
