Four Sunni prisoners still in danger of execution

HRANA News Agency – Four Sunni prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison in Iran are still in danger of execution, despite promises by the Iranian authorities to revoke their death sentences.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the death sentences for the men, Hamed Ahmadi, Jamshed Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani and Kamal Molayee, were confirmed by the Supreme Court, and their cases were sent to the Implementation of Sentences court, Branch 1 of Shahid Moghadasi court in Tehran. 10 prisoners back in ward 350 / hunger strike goes on

HRANA News Agency – 10 prisoners who were transferred to solitary confinement, are back to ward 350. Injured prisoners are still in solitary confinement and on hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Davar Hossaini, Abdolfattah Soltani, Ali Asgari, Arash Hampay, Mostafa Abdi, Mostafa Rismanbaf, Amir Ghazian, Asadollah Hadi, Asadollah Asadi and Sohail Arabi are back to ward 350 on April 20th. Arjang Davoodi was transferred to ward 209 of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Arjang Davoodi, who was exiled to Bandar Abbas prison, has been transferred to ward 209 of Evin prison for another interrogation.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Arjang Davoodi, the political prisoner of central prison of Bandar Abbas, has been transferred first to the police station number 106 of Shahid Namjou in Tehran and then to branch number 26 of revolutionary court for new investigations regarding the charge of insulting the supreme leader, by chief judge Pirabbasi. 2 political prisoners are on hunger strike in Tabriz Prison

HRANA News Agency – Arash Mohammadi and Ayat Mehrali Baigloo, the political prisoners of central prison of Tabriz, have started their hunger strike since April 15th, in protest at the pressure of the intelligence and security forces to political prisoners’ families
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), these political prisoners have announced that they have started their hunger strike in protest at persecution, arresting and threatening political prisoners’ families, and exiling political prisoners and depriving them of having furlough. Prison guards raiding ward 350 of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – 31 political prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement and their belongings were destroyed, some of them are in critical condition in solitary confinements.
 
“Ismael Barzegari’s ribs were broken, Soheil Babadi’s arm and neck were bruised, Soroush Sabet’s head was bleeding, Samko Khelghatis clothes were torn, Gholamreza Khosravi and Reza Akbari were severely injured, Asadollah Hadi faced heart problem because he had recently an open operation on his heart. Ali Asghar Mahmoudian has been arrested again

HRANA News Agency – Authorities did not deduct the three years that Ali Asghar Mahmoudian had served in detention and he is arrested again.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ali Asghar Mahmoudian was arrested align with his wife, Kefayat Malekmohammadi, in January 2010. After three years in uncertainty, he was sentenced to 6 years in prison in exile, in branch number 15 of the revolutionary court, by chief judge Salavati. Shahrokh Zamani is still on hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – Shahrokh Zamani has begun hunger strike after being transferred to the dangerous prisoners’ ward once again.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Shahrokh Zamani had started his hunger strike on March 8th in solidarity with Gonabadi Dervishes. After being exiled to Ghezel Hesar Prison he continued his hunger strike for 39 days demanding to be returned to the political prisoners’ ward in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj until April 14th when the authorities returned him to Rajai Shahr Prison. Sonya Ahmadi returns to prison in Mashhad

HRANA News Agency – Sonya Ahmadi, returned to Vakil Abad prison in Mashhad on April 17, after three months’ furlough.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), she began serving her 5-year sentence, on charges of teaching the Bahai Faith and membership of the Bahai community, on September 2, 2012, but she was released early on January 10, 2014, with the promise that her complete freedom would follow. Sunni prisoner awaiting execution transferred to hospital

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Gharibi, a Sunni prisoner of conscience awaiting execution in Iran, was transferred to Sina hospital in Karaj for a short while on Wednesday morning following a deterioration in his health condition.

A Kurdish political prisoner is still facing death sentence

HRANA News Agency – Habibollah Latifi, the Kurdish political prisoner of central prison of Sanandaj, is still at the risk of execution.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Habibollah Latifi, the student of industrial engineering of Ilam University, was arrested on October 23, 2007, and after three months in solitary confinement and physical torture he was sentenced to death in branch number one of revolutionary court, by chief judge Hassan Babayi, on charge of corruption on earth.
