A Poet in the 5th Month of His Detention

HRANA News Agency – Habib Sasanian, poet from Ardabil, is still in an undecided condition, after 5 months since he has been arrested, and imprisoned in central prison of Tabriz. No court has been assigned for his case and his family are worried about his health condition.

3 Arab Civilians Arrested in Ahvaz

HRANA News Agency – The intelligence forces in Ahvaz raided a house in Mollasheih and arrested three brothers. They beat the residents and broke the windows of the house. According to a close source to this family, their daughter was also beaten and their mother has been hospitalized due to a heart attack as the result of terrorizing behavior of the officers.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the intelligence forces of Ahvaz have arrested three Arab civilians in Mollashih, in west of Ahvaz, on Thursday October 4th. 2 Arab Activists Arrested

HRANA News Agency – The intelligence service of Ahvaz has arrested Amer Silavi and also Aref Navaseri, an Arab poet. There is no information about the status of these two civilians yet.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on October 5th at around 10 p.m. Amer Silavi was arrested in his house in Koot Abdullat area by intelligence service forces. Amer Silavi, 34, is married and has children. He has multiple arrests on his record. He was temporarily released on the bail at the time last time he was arrested. 19 Arab Civilians Sentenced to Imprisonment and Fine

HRANA News Agency – 19 Arab civilians with ages of 15 to 30 were sentenced to imprisonment and fine in branch number 101 of the revolutionary court of this city in Khouzestan province. Their relatives called the trial unfair due to unavailability of the lawyer and the short time of the court.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Judge Mahmood Sorkheh of branch number 101 of the revolutionary court of Shoosh sentenced 15 out of 19 Arab civilians to 2 years of imprisonment on charge of acts against the national security, damaging governmental properties, and 4 others who are all under 18, to 200 million IRRs fine. 9 Arab Civilians Arrested in Khuzestan Province

HRANA News Agency – Reports indicate more pressure on Arab citizens, especially in the south of Khuzestan province. At least 9 civilians were arrested by security forces and there is no information about the status of three of them. Also, the revolutionary court sentenced a social activist and poet to two years in prison. Bagher Gholami’s family has stated that after 6 months from his arrest, there is no information about him.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Jasem Krooshat, Abdulrahman Gharbavi, Seyed Abdulkarim Mousavi, Reza Obaidavi, Mohammad Haidari, Jabbar Abiyat, Sadam Abiyat and Karim Achrash have been arrested by security forces during past month. The Appeal Court of 11 Arab Activists Was Held in Ahvaz

HRANA News Agency – The appeal court session of 11 Arab political activists was held in branch number 16 of Ahvaz appeal court by Judge Saeid Koosha. These civilians had been previously sentenced to long term prison sentences, in branch number 4 of the revolutionary court by Judge Shabooni. The sentences of 2 of them have been issued and submitted to them.
