2 Civil Activists Ask for Further Appeal on Their Cases

HRANA News Agency – Hossein Alimohammadi Alvar and Seyed Taha Kermani, two civil activists in Tabriz, after being sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by branch 3 of Tabriz revolutionary court, appealed in due time and requested the Court of Appeal’s reconsideration.
Their lawyers, Jafar Afsharnia and Amir Bakhshi on Monday 15th June, made an appeal against the issued verdict by the delivery bill to the court, objecting the contradictions of the verdict including “not providing any evidence indicating the guilt” and “violation of the principle of innocence” and asked for a hearing and accurate legal proceedings on the cases of their clients. Abbas Lesani’s Imprisonment Sentence Confirmed by the Court of Appeal

HRANA News Agency – Abbas Lesani’s one year in prison sentence has been confirmed by the court of appeal of Ardebil.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), branch number one of the appeal court of Ardabil province rejected the defenses of Mr. Lesani and confirmed one year in prison sentence. No Information about Political Prisoner, Mansour Arvand

HRANA News Agency – “Do not look for Mansour anymore”, is the only sentence that the family of Mansour Arvand has heard from Uremia intelligence service officers.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mansour Arvand has been transferred from Miyandoab prison to an unknown location without any prior notice, on the beginning of last week. It was guessed that he might have been transferred to Uremia intelligence service, but inquiries, not only authorities did not give any information, but they tried to convince the family to withdraw their search. Alireza Rasouli Transferred to Solitary Confinement

HRANA News Agency – Alireza Rasouli have been transferred to solitary confinement on the 11th day of his hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Alireza Rasouli has gone on hunger strike in protest to the ignorance of the authorities towards his critical health condition and was transferred to solitary confinement on June 7th after being summoned to the office of the chief of the prison and 3 hours of interrogation. 4 Arrestees of Mahabad Transferred to Public Prison

HRANA News Agency – 4 arrestees of the recent demonstrations in Mahabad has been transferred from the intelligence office of Uremia to Mahabad Prison.
According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Kambiz Chekani, Anvar Badri, Rahman Khoshkalam and Younes Mallak had been arrested a day after the demonstrations in Mahabad and were transferred to the intelligence office of Uremia. Alireza Rasouli on Hunger Strike in Mahabad Prison

A Prisoner Died in Zahedan Prison because of Lack of Medical Care

HRANA News Agency – A young prisoner died in prison of Zahedan as a result of lack of medical care.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Abdul Wahed Gomshadzehi, 19, son of Din Mohammad, from Saravan in Sistan and Baluchestan province, with the critical condition of the scalp hematomas and due to lack of medical facilities and refrain from transferring to a hospital outside the prison, passed away on Monday, 18th May.
