HRANA News Agency – On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, a Kulbar was killed and four others were seriously injured after being shot by border guards in Salmas.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, German Amini son of Vahdat,36, from Dshvan  village of Salmas city along with his brother Rahim Amini, 33, Karim Etmani son of Farzami, 38, Kohzad Etmani son of Afroz, 26, and Samad Gol Mohamadi son of Ali, 26, were shot by IRGC border troops. Activists Protested in Marivan to Ignoring the Hunger Strikes in Prisons

HRANA News Agency – Saeid Shirzad, political prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison, who is beginning the third year of his imprisonment, is waiting for the decision of the appeal court since 8 months ago.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saeid Shirzad, 27, political prisoner and children’s rights activist, is under arrest since June 8, 2014. He spent more than two months in solitary confinements of ward 209 in Evin prison, without having any contact with his family and lawyer. HRANA News Agency – Esmaeil Shaverdi (Khanafareh), an employee of Shadegan municipality in Khouzestan province, committed self-immolation due to financial problems and after not receiving his salary for 6 months.

HRANA News Agency – Behnam Ibrahimzadeh, labour activist, who is suffering from lumbar disc was transferred to the hospital on Wednesday May 18 and returned to Rajaei Shahr prison on Thursday May 19.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam Ibrahimzadeh, labour activist who is imprisoned in Rajaei Shahr prison is suffering from kidney problem, arteritis and lumbar disc and was transferred to Imam Khomeini hospital on Wednesday May 18, and returned to the prison a day later. Greenhouse Owners Protested in Gilan Province

HRANA News Agency – Greenhouse owners in Golkhaneh town in Gilan province, a project which began 14 years ago to create jobs for agricultural graduates of this province in 130 pastures of hectares of bison herds of the three villages in the region of Kishestan Somesara in the first phase, in a demonstration called for the support of authorities.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), a budget of about 2000 billion IRR for the construction and commissioning of Golkhane town in Gilan was allocated in 2002 and the project was supposed to be built in an area of 400 hectares in three phases of manufacturing, export terminal, research center of plants and greenhouse so that agricultural graduated youth in the province and country could start their jobs there. HRANA News Agency – In attempting to hold a May Day celebration across the country, at least 12 workers were arrested in different cities of Iran and four others were summoned, as well as many of the gatherings were prevented by the security guards or police forces.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), trade unions and active institutions in the field of workers have announced the arrest of at least 12 people and 4 labor activists being summoned to the security forces.  A number of detainees were released and there is no information about the fate of several people.
