HRANA News Agency – Seyed Mohammadali Moosavi Motaghi is a Lebanese clergy who has been arrested in 2015 by Hezbollah in Lebanon and later submitted to Iran. He has been charged with security allegation and started a hunger strike in protest to many human rights violations since January 29 in Evin prison. He who had lost 35 kg of his weight, has been transferred to the clinic multiple times and finally was transferred from special ward of clergies to ward 209, on March 4.
Mr. Moosavi’s wife told HRANA’s reporter, “39 days has passed from the hunger strike of my husband but nothing has been done by officials in special court of clergies. It seems that it is normal for them, and they savagely pay no attention to lawful requests of my husband”. No Information about 2 Detained Christians in Urmia
HRANA News Agency – Despite the passage of more than two weeks since the detention of Anooshe Rezabakhsh and Sohail Zargarzadeh Christian converts by Urmia Revolutionary Guard forces, their state and whereabouts are not known.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Anooshe Rezabakhsh (Veronica) and Sohail Zargarzadeh (Augustine), Christians were arrested at their home by Urmia Revolutionary Guards’ forces and their belongings including pamphlets and books were confiscated in February. Arash Sadeghi Prevented from Being Sent to the Hospital
HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi civic activist in ward 350 of Evin Prison was prevented from being sent to the hospital despite the dispatch permissions and emphasis of the doctor to examine him due to his refusal of wearing the prison uniform because the uniform was impure. Mr. Sadeghi suffered from chronic inflammatory diseases of the airways (asthma), bleeding in the stomach and intestinal colitis, caused by prolonged hunger strike and lack of hospital treatment. On the other hand, he is prevented from meeting his wife Golrokh Irei who is serving her sentence in women’s ward of Evin prison, by “the prosecutor’s orders”.

Female Prisoners of Evin Prison Deprived of Proper Medical Treatment
HRANA News Agency – while sending political prisoners to clinics is always done with great difficulty by the judicial-security institutions, however, female prisoners, in particular women’s ward of Evin prison inmates suffer from severe deprivation, due to shortage of female security forces.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), to send prisoners to a hospital, according to the prosecutor’s order, the detainee must be examined by prosecution forensic and if approved then the transfer order will be issued. If there is a doctor who can cure the disease, then the prisoner will be transferred to prison’s infirmary, otherwise, will be transferred to medical centers contracted by the Prisons Organization. If families wish to transfer prisoners to another health center, they must make an appointment and pay the costs, after obtaining approval from the prosecutor. The Newest List of Prisoners in Women’s Ward of Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – In the women’s ward of Evin prison where many mothers are being kept, it is not possible to make a phone call, visits are limited and there are many environmental problems in this place. This report gives the names, status and charges of 31 female political-security prisoners.

Abbas Lisani Put on Trial in Meshgin Shahr
HRANA News Agency – The court hearing of Abbas Lisani, Turk (Azeri) activist from Ardabil and former political prisoner, was held in Branch one of the Revolutionary Court in Meshgin Shahr after changing the location of public and revolutionary courts. Mr. Lisani gave his defense in Turkish, which was accepted, unlike the previous sessions.

Morteza Moradpour Arrested by IRGC Forces

Ahmad Reza Jalali Transferred to Ward 240 of Evin Prison
RANA News Agency – Ahmad Reza Jalali, a researcher and medical doctor and a former resident of Sweden who has been held in detention on security charges, since May 2016, was recently transferred from ward 209 to ward 240 of Evin Prison after announcing a hunger strike. The family of this Iranian-Swedish citizen has no information about him and is concerned about his fate.
