Karim Chaichian and Mehdi Kukhian Held in Incommunicado

HRANA News Agency – Mehdi Kukhian and Karim Chaichian, two social activists, who had been transferred to an unknown location by prosecutor of Malekan’s order, are in prison since December 21, 2016. Paiman Mohammadpoor, prosecutor of Malekan (town), not only has deprived them from accessing their lawyer, but also has ordered for holding these citizens in incommunicado.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Karim Chaichian and Mehdi Kukhian have started hunger strike by sewing their lips, in protest to being beaten by judiciary forces, not having court hearing, being deprived from having phone calls with their families and also being deprived of having food for first 48 hours after being arrested. 4 Prisoners Including a Juvenile Executed in Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – Three prisoners with drug related charges and a juvenile offender, charged with murder were hanged in central prison of Tabriz.

Foad Yousefi in a Critical Health Condition in Rajaei Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Foad Yousefi, Sunni prisoner of Rajaei Shahr, is on hunger strike in protest to denial of his furlough.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Foad Yousei, Sunni prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison is on hunger strike since December 26th.

A close source to Mr. Yousefi, mentioned that this prisoner is being deprived of furlough and told HRANA’s reporter, “Foad is suffering from severe mental illness and has repeatedly attempted to injure himself. But his request for a furlough is being ignored. Despite having many correspondence about his illness, nothing has been done yet”.

This informed source continued, “Few months ago he was transferred to Amin Abad mental health centre, but he could not bear it and was again transferred to prison after two days. He is suffering from severe depression as well”.

This Sunni prisoner was arrested in 2010 and sentenced to 8 years in prison.

Ahmad Montazeri’s Appeal Court Held in Tehran

Ahmad Karimi Sent to Furlough after 8 Years

HRANA News Agency – Ahmad Karimi, political prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj, who is serving his sentence of 15 years since 8 years ago, came to furlough for the first time. Mr. Karimi who had been arrested before elections and during a fabricated trial was illustrated as one of the arrestees of post-election events, had received death sentence in the primary court.

Foad Rezazadeh Returned to Rajaei Shahr Prison by the End of His Furlough

HRANA News Agency – Foad Rezazadeh, Sunni prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison, went back to prison by the end of his furlough. This prisoner was sent to furlough after a 23-day long hunger strike.

One Prisoner Executed in Qazvin Prison

Hassan Rastegari Majd Still Being Kept in Solitary Confienment

HRANA News Agency – Hassan Rastegari Majd, an Iranian-born Turkish citizen and political prisoner is on hunger strike and is still being kept in solitary confinemen of Orumiyeh Central Prison. While on December 15, due to “his critical condition” the prison doctor was called his cell.
