HRANA News Agency – Despite recurrent pain and kidney problem of Omid Kokabi, prison authorities refused his request to transfer him to a hospital.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists in Iran (HRANA), after several days of recurrent pain on Omid Kokabi’s kidney, prison authorities refused his request to transfer him to a hospital outside the prison, although the clinic of the prison does not have sufficient equipment and facilities to address the problems. Shapour Rashno’s Wife Had Abortion Because Of The Agents’ Violence

HRANA News Agency – Violent attack by the security forces to arrest Shapour Rashno, civil activist, caused his wife to have an abortion.

Esmail Barzegari Released From Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Esmail Barzegari, political prisoner at the ward 7 of Evin prison was released.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Esmail Barzegari was released from ward 7 of Evin prison, on last Wednesday, after completing his sentence.
He was acquitted of espionage charges in the Court of Appeal and his sentence was reduced from 7 years imprisonment to two and a half years and considering more than four years imprisonment that he had already served, he was released.
Esmail Barzegari, dentist and musician, was arrested in Tabriz in May 2011 and was transferred to ward 209 of Evin Prison and after being held for seven months in solitary confinement he was transferred to ward 350, in January 2012, and subsequently he was transferred to ward 7 of Evin prison.

Ezatollah Jafari Arrested In Andimeshk

HRANA News Agency – Ezatollah Jafari, civil activist, was arrested in Andimeshk, following a new wave of civil activists’ detention in this city.

3 Activists Sentenced To Imprisonment In Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – Branch number 2 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court in Tabriz issued a verdict in the case of three civil activists named Rasul Razavi, Hossein Rakhshanikia and Sevindik Lotfi, on charges of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran” and “disturbing public opinion” and sentenced each of them to one year imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Imani, chairman of the second branch of the Revolutionary Court in Tabriz, issued a verdict on 21 September and on the charge of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran” suspended six months of their imprisonment for two years, and on the charge of “disturbing public opinion” on the basis of Article 301 of the Code of Criminal Procedure on the lack of jurisdiction, postponed the trial. A Man Set Himself In Fire And Died In Malekan

HRANA News Agency – A citizen of Malekan who had committed self-immolation in front of the city Justice Office, died and his funeral and burial was held in the presence of security forces.
