Erfan Halgheh Activists Arrested in Qom
HRANA News Agency – A group of followers of the “Erfan Halgheh”, who had staged a sit-in at Sanctuary of “Hazrat Masomeh”, in Qom, from 9 days ago in protest against the death sentence of Mohammad Ali Taheri, were arrested on Monday 24th August and 12 of them have so far been identified.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on 23rd May, a group of sit-in people that left shrine towards house of “Makarem Shirazi”, one of the Shiite Emulation References, were arrested by the security forces, and at the same time collective followers of “Erfan Halgheh”, also on track to join the sit-in protest were arrested. A Prisoner Hanged in Bandar Abbas Prison
HRANA News Agency – Hossein Karimi was hanged in Bandar Abbas prison.

Aliasghar Mahmoudian Has to Serve More Due To Medical Furlough
HRANA News Agency –Aliasghar Mahmoudian has to serve between 4 to 6 months more in prison as compensation for his medical furlough and the time that he was outside of the prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Aliasghar Mahmoudian, 63, political prisoner who is suffering from prostate, hear artery disease, hemorrhoids and respiratory disease, has to serve between 4 to 6 months more in Semnan prison, than his 6 years sentence as compensation for extension of his medical furlough and not being back to prison. A Citizen of Afghanistan Died in the Iranian Refugee Camp
HRANA News Agency – An Afghan citizen died as the result of lack of oxygen and heart attack in Sefid Sang of Fariman, refugee camp.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Seyed Gholam Haidar Hossaini, 55, citizen of Afghanistan, died in Sefid Sang of Fariman, refugee camp in Khorasan Razavi province, as a result of heart attack, caused by lack of oxygen in closed area of the camp, and delay in taking him to the hospital. Ebrahim Firuzi Ended His Hunger Strike after 5 Days
HRANA News Agency – Ebrahim Firuzi, a Christian prisoner of conscience, ended his hunger strike after five days.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ebrahim Firuzi who had begun a hunger strike from last Thursday, ended his hunger strike on Monday 24th August, on the fifth day and after the head of Rajai Shahr prison, Mardani, promised to do something for him, and treated and gave warning to the other prisoners in ward 10 of Rajai Shahr prison. Kurdish Man Executed while Awaiting Appeal of His Death Sentence
Behrouz Alkhani, a 30-year-old man from Iran’s Kurdish minority, was executed early this morning local time, said Amnesty International, despite the fact that he was awaiting the outcome of a Supreme Court appeal.

HRANA Published Full Text of Behruz Alkhani’s Court Sentence
HRANA News Agency – The following pictures are taken from Behruz Alkhani’s court sentence. He has been transferred to solitary confinement to be executed and had the last visit with his family already.
In the lack of transparency of Iranian judiciary, HRANA publsihed the court sentence to make the situation clearer. According to this sentence, despite accepting some charges under pressure, Behruz Alkhani has been denying the charge of murdering Khoy’s prosecutor and has stated that the act of terror was done before he would be active. Halt Execution of Kurdish Man due to be Carried Out Tomorrow Morning
Behrouz Alkhani, a 30-year-old man from Iran’s Kurdish minority has been transferred out of Oroumieh prison’s general ward and placed in solitary confinement in preparation for his execution tomorrow, despite the fact that he’s still awaiting the outcome of a Supreme Court appeal, said Amnesty International.
“The Iranian authorities must urgently halt Behrouz Alkhani’s execution. Carrying out a death sentence while a prisoner is awaiting the outcome of his appeal is a serious violation of both Iranian and international law, and is an affront to justice,” said Said Boumedouha, Deputy Director of the Middle East and North Africa Programme at Amnesty International.
