A Report on the Medical Situation of Political Prisoners in Rajai Shahr Prison
HRANA News Agency – Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj where in recent months has been the scene of the crisis caused by the pressures on the political prisoners and their mass strike, despite the passage of time, continues to face other challenges, such as lack of proper nutritional and medical treatment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), almost 53 political prisoners at Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj have been transferred to new and security hall in July. A Number of Students Arrested in Tehran / All Furloughs of Political Prisoners Canceled

From ISIS’s Prisons to Iran’s Prisons; a Letter from Hamzeh Darvish
HRANA News Agency – Hamzeh Darvish, 24-year-old prisoner from Talesh, claims that in 2014, ISIS troops tricked him into Turkey and then he traveled to Syria. He had been in ISIS jail for some time, then escaped to Iran and introduced himself to the security forces, and even had the chance to be freed by guarantee and to have quail breeding business. He was arrested unexpectedly, sometime ago, and sentenced to 18 years imprisonment. Mr. Darvishpour has a very bad physical and mental condition so that he cannot do his daily and personal affairs.

A Prisoners Chained to the Flagpole in the Yard of Ardebil Prison
HRANA News Agency – Ardebil prison officials beat a prisoner who had protested against not having sleeping place, and then chained him to the rods of the prison for hours in the cold weather. This inhumane practice in Ardebil Prison has been done before.

A Prisoner Chained to the Rods in Central Prison of Ardebil
HRANA News Agency – Ardebil Prison is one of the prisons in the country which punishes the prisoners in inhumane ways. For several times during the past year, the authorities of the prison have chained prisoners to the rods for a day.

A Report about Hassan Rastgari’s Situation in Uremia Prison
HRANA News Agency – Hassan Rastegari Majd, Iranian-Turkish citizen and political prisoner in Urmia Central Prison, who has been sentenced to 24 years in three separate cases, has an unfavorable medical condition. The prisoner who had gone on hunger strike in protest against his legal situation, accused the judicial authorities and in particular prosecutor’s office with not doing what he promised to do.

Yousef Emadi Sentenced to Imprisonment and Exile in a New Case
HRANA News Agency – Yousef Emadi who was imprisoned for collaborating in the production and distribution of “unauthorized” music, was sentenced to another year in jail and exile to Bushehr by Judge Moghiseh for his new case on the charge of “propaganda against the system” which had been opened against him in the prison period.
According to the verdict of the primitive sentence which has been notified to the lawyer of Yousef Emadi, the activist of the music arena was sentenced to one year in prison and two years in exile in Bushehr on charge of “propaganda against the regime” by branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Moghiseh.
