HRANA News Agency – Omid Rahmani and Rasoul Shokri, two prisoners in Orumieh Prison with financial charges, were chained to the door of solitary confinement due to announcing hunger strike, as “a lesson for others prisoners”.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Omid Rahmani and Rasoul Shokri, two prisoners with financial charges, who have been held in Orumieh Prison, since 2011, were chained to the door of solitary confinement while they were handcuffed and shackled, for more than 48 hours by the prison authorities, following a hunger strike to protest against the lack of proper care towards their case, whilst based on the usual procedure they should have been transferred to the solitary confinement in prison. Amnesty International Concerned about Saeed Hosseinzadeh’s Situation
HRANA News Agency – Amnesty International expressed concern about the hunger strike of Saeed Hosseinzadeh, children’s rights activist and prisoner of ward 7 of Evin prison and his critical condition in a statement.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the statement said: “Amnesty International is aware that Saeed Hossein Zadeh is suffering from different diseases such as heart disease, arthritis, digestive and respiratory problems, but “Sarollah” headquarters which was responsible for the investigation of his case, banned his medical furlough and threatened his life. Special Guards Raided Hall 12 of Rajai Shahr Prison
HRANA News Agency – Special guards raided to the 4th ward of hall number 12 in Rajai Shahr prison and transferred several political prisoners to the other wards by force on Saturday, March 12.

Afshin Sohrabzadeh Deprived of Medical Furlough
HRANA News Agency – Authorities do not agree with the medical furlough of Afshin Sohrabzadeh, exiled political prisoner in Minab prison who suffers from colon cancer and respiratory problems.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Afshin Sohrabzadeh, political prisoner has asked for medical furlough. He has been suffering from colon cancer and now suffers from respiratory problems and internal bleeding as a result of medical problems and the poor physical condition but the security-judiciary authorities refuse his demand. Hossein Ronaghi Maleki Transferred to the Medical Center
HRANA News Agency – Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, imprisoned in Evin prison was transferred from prison for an examination by an orthopaedist to the hospital and returned to prison after the examination on Wednesday 9 March.

Mohammad Saifzadeh Released from Rajaei Shahr Prison of Karaj
HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Saifzadeh, imprisoned lawyer and human rights activists, was released from Rajaei Shahr Prison of Karaj after applying integration of sentences and serving his sentence.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Saifzadeh, member of Human Rights Activists Association, was sentenced to 6 years in prison in two different cases. HRANA News Agency – Motaleb Ahmadian, political prisoner, was transferred from Sanandaj prison to an unknown place on March 8th and has not returned to this prison till today.

A Report about 3 Political Prisoners in Minab Prison
HRANA News Agency – Three political prisoners who are kept in Minab prison, have been sentenced to a total of 100 years. Three Kurdish political prisoners, “Mohammadhossein Rezaei”, “Kamal Sharifi” and “Afshin Sohrabzadeh” were sentenced respectively to 45, 30 and 25 years in prison and have been exiled to Minab prison long ago.

Majid Mohammadi Moin Released from Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Majid Mohammadi Moin was released from Evin prison. He had been imprisoned since 2011.
