Afshin Sohrabzadeh in Critical Health Condition in Minab Prison
HRANA News Agency – The condition of Afshin Sohrabzadeh, political prisoner in Minab prison has been described as “dangerous”. This prison has “colon cancer, internal bleeding and kidney problems” since a long time ago.

Saeed Hossainzadeh Ended His Hunger Strike after 20 Days
HRANA News Agency – Saeed Hossainzadeh, civil society activists in Evin Prison, ended his hunger strike on 12 march after 20 days.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), by the request of civil rights activists and the prosecutor’s promise to send him to furlough, the civil rights activist ended his hunger strike at 8 o’clock on 12 march. Mostafa Tajzadeh Sentenced to Another 4 Months Imprisonment
HRANA News Agency – Mostafa Tajzadeh has been sentenced to another four months imprisonment. This prisoner had been first sentenced to 6 years in prison and during his imprisonment time, based on the Revolutionary Guards complaints, was sentenced to another year of imprisonment.

Alireza Ahmadi Deprived of Medical Treatment in Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Alireza Ahmadi, security prisoner in Evin Prison is suffering from severe pain due to intestinal rupture of the diaphragm, heart and respiratory problems and prison authorities deny transferring him to a hospital for treatment. Prison officials said that due to high costs, they were not able to transfer him.

Saeed Hossainzadeh in a Worrying Condition on the 19th Day of Hunger Strike
HRANA News Agency – Close people to Saeed Hossainzadeh have expressed their concern about the health status of the civil rights activist on the 19th day of his hunger strike. Because of different diseases, the doctors of the clinic of Evin prison had issued the intolerance of punishment certificate before and also have warned the prosecutor about the continuation of the current status during the last days.

Eisa Saharkhiz Transferred to Ward 8 of Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Eisa Saharkhiz, imprisoned journalist was transferred to ward 8 of Evin prison. This critical journalist had been already transferred to quarantine of Evin prison from ward 2-A and broken his hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the first trial of Mr. Saharkhiz was held in the 28th branch of the revolutionary court headed by Judge Moghayeseh on March 5, and the investigation has been postponed to next hearing by his request of respite. HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Mehdi Sajedifar returned to Evin Prison at the end of his furlough. This PhD graduate of genetic after 5 years of imprisonment on 24th February left ward 8 of Evin Prison on a furlough.

A Report on Ali Asghar Mahmoudian’s Situation in Semnan Prison
HRANA News Agency – The physical condition of “Ali Asghar Mahmoudian”, political prisoner in Semnan prison, is reported to be critical. A person close to Mr. Mahmoudian told HRANA’s reporter that, the prisoner’s legs were at risk of paralysis and inability, and despite the lack of treatment inside the prison, authorities have refused to send him on medical furlough.

Mohammad Sadiq Kaboudvand in Critical Health Condition in Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Sadiq Kaboudvand, imprisoned journalist and human rights activist in Ward 350 of Evin prison, is reported to be in critical health condition. Despite the lack of adequate medical facilities at the prison the prison authorities refused to send him to the hospital.
