The cases of 8 Sunni prisoners are sent to the Supreme Court

HRANA News Agency – The cases of 8 Sunni’s who are sentenced to death and in Rajai Shahr prison now, have been sent to the Supreme Court.

 

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the intelligence agents arrested 149 Sunni citizens in 2009 in Iran.

A Baha’i prisoner was transferred to Meshkin Shahr prison

HRANA News Agency – Ramin Idelkhani the Baha’i citizen from Pars Abad in Ardebil province was spending his one year imprisonment but transferred to Meshkin Shahr prison.

 

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this Baha’i citizen who was spending his one year imprisonment in Pars Abad prison, 27 days ago was tranferred to Meshkin Shahr prison that is more than two hours and a half from his family whitout showing any warrant. Mehdi Rahmani the Yarsan follower arrested

HRANA News Agency – Mehdi Rahmani, the follower of Yarsan religion -Ahle Hagh- has been arrested on charge of recording the video of another Yarsan follower’s suicide in front of Hamedan governorate.

Two Kurds die of self-immolation

HRANA News Agency – Two followers of Ahl-e Haqq in Kurdistan set themselves on fire in protest to the persecution of another member of this group.  Ahl-e Haqq is a religious minority whose members are mostly ethnic Kurds.

Amanollah Mostaghim was transferred to Rajaie Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – On Wednesday, May 29, 2013, Amanollah Mostaghim, a member of the Baha’is Science Institute of Iran, was transferred to Rajaie Shahr Prison in Karaj.

Four Baha’i citizens were tried and sentenced in Mashhad

HRANA News Agency – Four Baha’i citizens were tried and sentenced to prison in Mashhad.  Nika Kholoosi, Nava Kholoosi, Adib Sho’aie and Mahsa Mahdavi received sentences ranging from eight months to six years.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), these prisoners of conscious were tried in the 3rd branch of Revolutionary Court in Mashhad.  Judge Soltani presided over the trial during which the defenders were charged with promoting the Baha’i religion, propaganda against the Islamic regime and membership in Baha’i groups. Baha’i Citizens interrogated upon return to Iran

HRANA News Agency – In the past few months, a number of Baha’i citizens have been interrogated by the authorities after returning to Iran from Turkey.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Iranian intelligent officers have questioned Baha’i citizens at the airport and inspected their belongings in different occasions.

Two Baha’i sisters denied full access at Mashhad exhibition

HRANA News Agency – Two Baha’i sisters Nika and Nava Kholoosi have been denied access to fully participate in flower exhibitions held in Mashhad.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Nika and Nava Kholoosi are two young Baha’i sisters who were behind bars for six months and released in March 2013 after posting bail.  While waiting for their verdicts, they rented a booth at Mashhad International Exhibition Center to participate in the annual plant and flower exhibition which starts on May 15 and runs until May 19, 2013. Prison authorities denied medical vacation for Behnam Irani

HRANA News Agency – Prison authorities of Karaj prison denied medical furlough of Behnam Irani the converted christian who is suffering from several health problems.

 

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam Irani the converted christian in ward 2 in hall 7 of Karaj prison has several health problems such as eye-sight weakness, knee issues, gut bleeding and backache, however newly he has afflicted to skin inflammation he has not access to medical treatment inside prison because of lack of specialist in prison. Amanollah Mostaghim is arrested to serve his imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – Amanollah Mostaghim the engineer and one of the Baha’is scientific institute members and colleagues has arrested on Monday.

 

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amanollah Mostaghim one of the Baha’is scientific institute colleagues, who was summoned by the security authorities to serve his five years imprisonment sentence, appeared in Evin prison and got arrested.
