Iraj Mohammadi in Critical Health Condition in Central Prison of Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – Iraj Mohammadi, political prisoner in Tabriz prison, is in a critical physical condition. This prisoner along with Mohammad Amin Agooshi was transferred to Tabriz prison since two weeks ago in the 7th year of imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Iraj Mohammadi who suffers from epilepsy and psychological problems, was transferred from Zahedan prison to Tabriz prison, since two weeks ago and is kept without adequate medical care and even has not received his medications yet. 7 Prisoners Sentenced to Additional Imprisonment in Orumieh Prison since 2011

HRANA News Agency – A trend of increasing the sentences of the prisoners in Orumieh Prison has begun since 2011 as Ali Ahmad Soleiman, Mustafa Ali Ahmed and Qader Mohammadzadeh were sentenced each to three months in prison in the spring of that year on charges of propaganda against the system.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), in 2011 other two prisoners, Ali Ahmad Soleiman and Omid Rahmani were sentenced on charge of propaganda against the state to three months in prison. Amnesty International Called for Immediate Release of Hossein Ronaghi Maleki

HRANA News Agency – Amnesty International in a statement expressed their deep concern over the situation of the jailed blogger Hossein Ronaghi Maleki calling for urgent action for his freedom.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on April 1st, Amnesty International stated that since March 26, Hossein Ronaghi Maleki was on hunger strike and his situation was not addressed by the authorities. Ehsan Shahqasemi Released from the Prison

HRANA News Agency – Ehsan Shahqasemi who had been sentenced to death on charge of murder of a Basij member was released by the end of the sentence of the general aspects of the crime and also obtaining the consent of the victim’s parents, the charge of murder and the death sentence of Shahqasemi had taken place in circumstances that the death of “Ali Khalili” was three years after the clash and the he had consented officially and received the payment as the blood money or the cost of treatment.

Iraj Hatami Beaten in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – Iraj Hatami, political prisoners detained in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, who is kept with the prisoners of serious crimes in exile, was beaten by a number of prisoners.

HRANA News Agency – Mostafa Azizi went back to the prison after the end of his New Year furlough. It is expected more political prisoners will return to the prison soon.

Mohammad Amin Agooshi Transferred to Central Prison of Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Amin Agooshi, political prisoner from Piranshar prison, presented himself to Tabriz prison to continue his sentence and is held in military prisoners’ ward.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mohammad Amin Agooshi, prisoner of Zahedan Central prison, who had been on furlough, in a conversation with HRANA’s reporter, said: “After spending 7 years and 8 months of my sentence, I received a letter regarding my transfer to Tabriz prison, on 7th February, and I presented myself to Tabriz prison to serve the remaining of my sentence, on 22nd March”. 5 Political Prisoners on Hunger Strike in Different Prisons

HRANA News Agency – Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, Saeed Razavi Faqih, Iraj Hatami, Farid Azmodeh and Behzad Tarahomi are five political-security prisoners on hunger strike in different prisons.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Hossein Ronaghi Maleki and Saeed Razavi Faqih are two political prisoners and patients in ward 7 of Evin prison who are on the 4th and 7th day of their hunger strike because of lack of investigation to their therapeutic situation. Arjang Davoudi’s Death Sentence Reduced to 5 Years Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – Arjang Davoudi, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison says; his death sentence has been reduced to five years imprisonment in exile. He should be ready by 14th June to be exiled to Zabul prison.

Injured Prisoners Kept without Medical Treatment in Rajaei Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Rajaei Shahr prison authorities have kept some of the injured prisoners in an environment without light and without sanitary tools while depriving them of the medical treatment as a punishment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), some prisoners who are speculated to have taken part in recent mass conflict inside the prison, are being kept in an inhumane condition, in violation to all current laws and by arbitrary decisions made by prison authorities, in hall number 33 of section 10 of this prison.
