HRANA News Agency – Nasour Naghipoor, Seyyed Alireza Beheshti, Neda mostaghimi, Mohammad Hasan Mostaghimi, Mohammad Hasan Yousefpoor Saiyfi, Raham Barakchizedeh, Ali Zakeri, Masoud Sadeghi, Reza Hampay Gharemaleki and Mehdi Dolati have been released from Evin prison. Also, half of the sentence of Kazem Barjasteh and Mohsen Rahmani was pardoned.
It is been said that these are because of the pardon for Eid Fitr and there is a probability of the freedom of other prisoners. (more…)
HRANA News Agency – With Nasoor Naghipour and Alireza Beheshti being released, the number of released political prisoners has been eleven so far.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Neda Mostaghimi, Mohammad Hassan Yousefpour, Roham Barkachi Zadeh, Ali Zakeri, Masood Sadeghi, Reza Hampaye Gharah Maleki, Nader Jani, Mehdi Tadaion, and Mehdi Dolati had been already released, also Kazem Barjasteh and Mohsen Rahmani by reduction on their sentences, were subject to remission of their half remaining sentences. HRANA News Agency – At least 9 political prisoners were released from Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), a number of prisoners from different wards of Evin prison were released on Wednesday 22nd July. It is said that these prisoners have been released on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. (more…)
HRANA News Agency – Judicial authorities rejected the request of seventy political and security prisoners, imprisoned in Evin prison to be released earlier.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), a large number of prisoners in Evin prison, including 13 prisoners of ward 350, were imparted that their conditional release requests have been rejected. (more…)
HRANA News Agency – There are more than 206 political prisoners in the 350 and women’s sections of the Evin prison. This includes both who have definite sentences and those who are under temporary arrest.
Although the section 350 is one of the public sections of the Evin prison, the prisoners there are prevented from their basic rights like telephone contact or meeting their families.
