Mohammad Nazari Transferred to Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Nazari, a political prisoner in Orumieh prison, suffers from gallbladder disease. He had been sent to hospital with prosecutor’s permission in recent days, but he has been transferred to prison for recurrence of illness and the diagnosis of doctors said that he should undergo a surgery.

A Report on the Latest Status of Mohammad Nazari in Urmia Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Nazari is a political prisoner in Urmia Prison who was transferred there from Rajai shahr prison in Karaj in November 2017, due to protests against the prison conditions and the violation of prisoners’ rights. Despite medical problems, including kidney discomfort, he is still suffering from insufficient medical treatment due to absence of a doctor in the prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Nazari is being deprived of having access to medical services due to a shortage of personnel and the absence of a doctor in the prison clinic. (more…)

A Report on 9 Prisoners with Life Imprisonment Sentences

HRANA News Agency – Seven political prisoners with a life sentence in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, have been held since 12 to 23 years ago without furlough in the prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), seven political prisoners, namely Mohammad Nazari, Karim Maroof Aziz, Omar Faghihpour, Khaled Fereidoni, Said Masouri, Afshin Baymany and Hamzeh Savari, respectively, have been held for 23, 20, 17, 16, 16, 16 and 12 years and have a total of 120 years of imprisonment. The List Of Over 80 Political Prisoners In Rajai Shahr Prison In Karaj

HRANA News Agency – The following list includes names, warrants and charges of more than 80 political prisoners, prisoners of conscience and security in Rajai Shahr prison which has been prepared by the reporters of HRANA.

A diverse range of prisoners charged with political, conscience, military and security allegations are being held in Rajai Shahr prison. Although many of these prisoners are kept in separate rooms in Hall 12 but a large number of these prisoners are being kept also between non-political, criminals and sometimes dangerous prisoners unlike the principle of separation of crimes. Omar Faghihpour Deprived Of Furlough In The 16th Of His Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – Omar Faghihpour, Kurdish political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison, has served 16 years of his life sentence and despite having the right of furlough or parole, he is still kept in the prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), he had been arrested in 2000 and charged with acting against national security and war against God through contact with the Democratic Party of Kurdistan. He was sentenced to death in Mahabad revolutionary court, and then the court of appeal reduced his sentence to life imprisonment with a degree of extenuating. (more…)

Khaled Fereydooni, 15 Years Imprisonment With No Furlough

HRANA News Agency – After more than 15 years of continuous imprisonment of Khaled Fereydooni and despite the legal possibility of use of parole and furlough, he is still being held in Rajai Shahr prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Khaled Fereydooni has the parole conditions according to enduring more than 15 years in prison. According to the Penal Code, prisoners, sentenced to life imprisonment after serving 12 years of imprisonment can apply for parole. (more…)
