7 political prisoners exiled to Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Seven prisoners of ward number 350 of Evin prison, has been exiled to Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj yesterday morning.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Reza Shahabi, Reza Akbari Monfared, Javad Fooladvand, Asghar Ghottan, Asadollah Hadi, Gholamhossain Asadi and Ali Sallanpoor are the political prisoners who have been transferred to Rajai Shahr prison. Prison guards raiding ward 350 of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – 31 political prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement and their belongings were destroyed, some of them are in critical condition in solitary confinements.
 
“Ismael Barzegari’s ribs were broken, Soheil Babadi’s arm and neck were bruised, Soroush Sabet’s head was bleeding, Samko Khelghatis clothes were torn, Gholamreza Khosravi and Reza Akbari were severely injured, Asadollah Hadi faced heart problem because he had recently an open operation on his heart. 7 prisoners refused to visit the families in solidarity with Dervishes

HRANA News Agency – Seven prisoners of ward 350 of Evin prison refused to visit their families.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), some of the prisoners of ward 350 of Evin prison refused to go to visit hall, in protest to medical negligence of political prisoners and forcing them to wear prison’s dress (refusal of wearing prison’s dress, due to its offensive effect, resulted in halts of medical treatments of many prisoners) on Monday March 10, 2014. Political Activist remains in custody without being charged

HRANA News Agency – Reza Akbari-Monfared has been in custody for four months without being formally charged with any crimes.  Akbari-Monfared is a political activist whose family members were executed during the mass killings of 1980s in Iran.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Akbari-Monfared was arrested on Jan. 15, 2013 together his son, Ali, and has been locked up in Ward 209 of Evin Prison ever since.  His sister, Maryam, was arrested during the protests following the 2009 presidential elections in Iran and sentenced to 15 years in prison.  His son, Ali, was released from prison last March after posting bail.
Akbari-Monfared was a political prisoner in 1980s, and four members of her family were executed during the same time.  Ali-Reza, 20, Gholam-Reza, 26, Roghihe, 30, and Abdual-Reza, 23, were all hanged in the 80s.
