4 Prisoners Hanged in the Prison of Isfahan

HRANA News Agency – Four prisoners were hanged in the prison of Isfahan and there are 6 others waiting for execution in Bandar Abbas and Zahedan prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), four of those convicted of drug-related crimes were hanged in Dastgerd prison, in Isfahan on Wednesday 29th July. Family of Shahriar Cyrus Denied Prison Visiting Rights

HRANA News Agency – Despite the orders of the Prosecutor, authorities at Evin prison, in Tehran, have refused to allow Shahriar Cyrus, a Bahai painter and a respected art critic, to receive family visits.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mr. Cyrus was arrested on June 30th. On July 23, his wife Afsaneh Eqani and their 7-year-old son went to block 209 at Evin prison, where prisoners of conscience are held. HRANA News Agency – Majid Moghadam, political prisoner in ward 8 of Evin prispon was released on the bail.

5 Prisoners Executed in Shahab Prison in Kerman

HRANA News Agency – Five prisoners, who were sentenced to death, were executed in “Shahab” prison in Kerman and 3 others were transferred to solitary confinements for execution.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), these prisoners were all sentenced to death on charge of drug related crimes who were 4 men and 1 woman. Officials Prevent 2 Political Prisoners from Being Transferred to the Hospital

HRANA News Agency – The Evin prison officials are preventing Babak Asiaei and Alireza Golipoor from being transferred to a hospital, despite their critical condition.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Alireza Golipoor, the prisoner of ward number 7 is suffering from serious heart disease and Babk Asiaei is recently facing critical digestive problems. A Report about Dr. Maleki’s Sit-In

HRANA News Agency – Dr. Mohammad Maleki has started a sit-in in front of one the IRGC buildings, in response to the seizure of his properties and being banned from leaving the country.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this sit-in is being carried out since three weeks ago, on Mondays from 10 to 12, in front of the Dena building in Vanak square, and along with Dr. Maleki, some of the families of political prisoners and victims of violations of human rights are participating. A Virus Disease Has Spread in Ward 8 of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Some prisoners of ward number 8 of Evin prison have been diagnosed with a kind of Toxication.
An informed source in this regard told HRANA’s reporter, “A virus based disease which is similar to toxication has spread in ward number 8. Babak Asiayi is among the affected ones. He is in the washroom all the time and vomits everything he takes, even water. He was diagnosed with digestion problems but was not transferred to the clinic”.
