A Blogger Sentenced to 3 Years of Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – Zine El Abidine Ghaemi, Khorasani blogger, has been sentenced to 3 years imprisonment by a preliminary court.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mr. Ghaemi was tried on 20th May, on charges of propaganda against the regime, insulting the leadership and disturbing public opinion, by the Revolutionary Court in Ghaen, presided by judge Milanloei and was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment. 4 Erfan Halgheh Activists Summoned to Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Four activists of “Erfan Halgheh” were summoned to Evin Prison to serve their sentences.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ardeshir Shahnawaz, Mohammad Reza Afshar, Leila Jamaat and Mohammad Tajik Pazooki, coaches of “Erfan Halgheh” Group whose sentences had just recently been confirmed in the appeal court, were summoned on the phone to Evin prison. Monthly Report – An Overview of the Human Rights Situation in Iran in April-May, 2015

HRANA News Agency – The Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran has published the following monthly report on the human rights situation in Iran during the period of April-May, 2015 (Persian calendar month of Ordibehesht, 1394). This report cannot perfectly and comprehensively reflect the details of human rights concerns in Iran for obvious reasons including the existing governmental limitations and ban on the free exchange of information. It should be emphasized that in addition to the monthly reports, the Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran publishes a comprehensive and analytical annual report at the end of each year. Mansoor Arvand Executed without Any Prior Notifying of His Family

HRANA News Agency – Mansoor Arvand, political prisoner in Mahabad, has been hanged, without informing his family and the last meeting.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), a member of his family, confirmed this news and said that, on Wednesday 15 June, they had been told by the Miandoa’b prison that they could and collect his body for a fee. Afshin Heiratian Released from Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Afshin Heiratian, children’s rights activist, was released after serving his four years in prison sentence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Afshin Heiratian, had been arrested on August 12, 2011, and sentenced to four year in prison for disrupting public opinion, collusion against the national security, and then was transferred to Rajaei Shahr prison in Karaj.
