HRANA New Agency – Molana Gargij, Sunni Imam of Friday prayers in Azad Shahr, once again saved a young man’s life, who was sentenced to death, by the intercession.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Molana Mohammad Hossein Gargij’s recent trip to Sistan and Baluchistan province led him to intervene again and save the life of a young man, who had been sentenced to death, 7 years after the murder. Hossein Ashtiani Sent to Furluogh from Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Hossein Ashtiani, a political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, who is serving his 15-year-imprisonment sentence in exile, has been sent on leave.

Concerns Grow of Mass Executions in Ghezel Hesar Prison

HRANA New Agency – Following the execution of 15 prisoners in unit 2 of Ghezel Hesar prison, a wave of worry has surrounded the prison inmates and their families.

15 Prisoners Hanged in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – 15 prisoners with drug related crimes were executed in Ghezel Hesar prison, in Karaj, by hanging.

The Families of Sunni Prisoners Prohibited from Burring Them

HRANA News Agency – After the execution of six Sunni prisoners, their bodies were not given to their families some of whom had traveled from far distances to Rajai Shahr, in Karaj, even after hours of waiting and confusion, and, despite their legitimate requests, just one representative of each family was allowed to see their loved ones’ bodies to identify them and the other members of families and relatives were prevented from attending Bibi Sakineh Cemetery for their children’s funeral ceremony.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), after the execution of Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Molaei, Jamshid Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani, Sadiq Mohammadi and Seyed Hadi Hosseini, Sunni prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, their families who had gathered in front of the prison the night before, demanded their loved ones’ bodies who had been executed, to take their bodies to their home city for interment, however, they were confounded from 4am to 4pm as the authorities did not give a clear respond, and  eventually, authorities told them that they could not take their bodies to their cities and they would be buried in cemetery of Bibi Sakineh, due to the security system’s decision. Reza Shahabi, Kamran Ayazi and Omid Zareinejad Sentenced to 18 Months in Prison

HRANA News Agency – Reza Shahabi, Kamran Ayazi and Omid Zareinejad, who were charged with propaganda against the regime, have been sentenced to accumulation of 18 months in prison following the events that are known as black Thursday.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), in a court session held on branch number 26 of revolutionary court for three beaten prisoners in “black Thursday” on Saturday March 7, Reza Shahabi was sentenced to one year and Kamran Ayazi and Omid Zaresi Alinejad sentenced to 91 days in prison. Monthly Report – An Overview of the Human Rights Situation in Iran in January – February, 2015

HRANA News Agency – The Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists in Iran has published the following monthly report on the human rights situation in Iran during the period of January – February, 2015 (Persian calendar month of Bahman, 1393). This report cannot perfectly and comprehensively reflect the details of human rights concerns in Iran for obvious reasons including the existing governmental limitations and ban on the free exchange of information. It should be emphasized that in addition to the monthly reports, the Department of Statistics and Publications of the Human Rights Activists Association of Iran publishes a comprehensive and analytical annual report at the end of each year. Masoumeh Zia Summoned by the Security Police

HRANA News Agency – Masoumeh Zia, an Erfane Halgheh follower and activist has been summoned by the Security Police.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on the morning of Tuesday 10 March 2015, Masoumeh Zia has been summoned to the 2nd base of the Security Police via a phone call. 10 Prisoners Hanged in Shiraz

HRANA News Agency – Ten prisoners in Adel Abad prison were executed because of alleged retribution and drug-related crimes.
