HRANA News Agency – There are reports about some inhabitants of Ahwaz being arrested. Meanwhile, the condition of 8 detainees who were sentenced to death by branch number one of the revolutionary court on charge of sacrilege, has been reported to be critical.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), some citizens with the names of Majid Kabi, Milad Ben Saeed, Naeim Dalfiyeh in Sepidar prison of Ahvaz, and Vahid Mohammad Mousayi and Danial Khairi in Ramshir were arrested by the intelligence forces. A Report About Hossein Alimohammadi’s Situation In The Central Prison Of Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – Hossein Alimohammadi Alvar, political prisoner, after eight months of detention, is still waiting for judicial proceedings by the Court of Appeal regarding his 10 years imprisonment sentence which has been issued by the Revolutionary Court in Tabriz. He has been deprived of medical appropriate care and treatment despite his eye diseases, in Tabriz prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), he is currently being held in the ward of prisoners of common crimes and sometimes dangerous criminals, in Tabriz prison and his efforts to be transferred to the political prisoners’ ward has been ineffective. A Refugee From Afghanistan Killed By The Iranian Police

HRANA News Agency – An Afghanistani Young man died in the border region near Chalderan in West Azerbaijan province because of being beaten by the police at the border station in this area.  His family by writing a letter demanded the case to be pursued in the courts and the agent or agents responsible to be taken to justice.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Alireza Rezaei is the young Afghani man who died in Chalderan region, because of being beaten and neglected by the police at the border stations. This young man with a handful of Afghanis had been arrested on charge of trying to illegally to cross the border from Iran to Turkey. Esmail Barzegari Released From Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Esmail Barzegari, political prisoner at the ward 7 of Evin prison was released.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Esmail Barzegari was released from ward 7 of Evin prison, on last Wednesday, after completing his sentence.
He was acquitted of espionage charges in the Court of Appeal and his sentence was reduced from 7 years imprisonment to two and a half years and considering more than four years imprisonment that he had already served, he was released.
Esmail Barzegari, dentist and musician, was arrested in Tabriz in May 2011 and was transferred to ward 209 of Evin Prison and after being held for seven months in solitary confinement he was transferred to ward 350, in January 2012, and subsequently he was transferred to ward 7 of Evin prison.

3 Activists Sentenced To Imprisonment In Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – Branch number 2 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court in Tabriz issued a verdict in the case of three civil activists named Rasul Razavi, Hossein Rakhshanikia and Sevindik Lotfi, on charges of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran” and “disturbing public opinion” and sentenced each of them to one year imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Imani, chairman of the second branch of the Revolutionary Court in Tabriz, issued a verdict on 21 September and on the charge of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran” suspended six months of their imprisonment for two years, and on the charge of “disturbing public opinion” on the basis of Article 301 of the Code of Criminal Procedure on the lack of jurisdiction, postponed the trial.
