Mohammad Sadigh Kaboodvand Transferred Urgently to the Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Sadigh Kaboodvand, journalist and human rights activist, was transferred to Taleghani hospital in an emergency case, following deterioration of his condition due to hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Sadigh Kaboodvand, imprisoned journalist and head Kurdistan Human Rights Organization who has started his hunger strike despite suffering from different diseases, in protest to the new cases that are being fabricated for him, since May 8, was transferred to Taleghani hospital after deterioration of his condition. A 20-Year-Old Afghan Refugee Killed by the Iranian Police

HRANA News Agency – Ehsanullah Ehsani, 20-year-old refugee from Afghanistan in Yazd province who was arrested by police previously, died in Fatemeh Alzahra hospital as the result of being beaten in the detention.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on Friday, May 13, 2016, Ehsanullah Ehsani had been arrested by police previously and finally, as a result of injuries caused by tortures of officers to extract confessions, was transferred to a hospital while being in coma on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 and died in hospital two days later on May 20. A Poet Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mohammadreza Haj Rostambeiglo, the poet who had been arrested in December 2015, was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment by the court in his absence.
According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mohammadreza Haj Rostambeiglo, poet, who had been arrested on Wednesday December 15, 2015, in Karaj and then was released on a bail of 700 million IRR from the Central prison of Karaj, was tried by Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court in Karaj, in his absence, and was sentenced to 3 years in prison. Jafar Azimzadeh Transferred to the Hospital on the 23rd of Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Jafar Azimzadeh secretary of the board of the Free Trade Union of Workers in Iran imprisoned at Evin Prison was taken to hospital on May 21, 2016, following the deterioration of his health condition on the twenty-third day of his hunger strike.

2 Civilians Summoned to the Intelligence Ministry in Kamyaran

HRANA News Agency – On May 21, 2016, Shoeleh Goudarzi and Rojin Ibrahimi, both from Kamyaran were summoned and interrogated at the Ministry of Intelligence of Kamyaran due to participating in the celebration of May Day.

Afshin Sohrabzadeh’s Parents Call on Ahmed Shaheed to Save their Son

HRANA News Agency – Afshin Sohrabzadeh, exiled political prisoner in Minab prison, who suffers from cancer, is deprived of proper medical care, and is not able provide treatment costs and as well as the specified bail for a medical leave. The prisoner also is deprived of having insurance because of his ID documents being confiscated. Recently 14 human rights organizations issued a joint statement to warn about his physical condition and called for his immediate benefit of health care and fair hearing.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), his mother in despair and worry, in a handwritten in her hands addressed to the UN Human Rights Special Rapporteur, asked him to try to save her son due to his serious health condition and that the death threatens him. Abbas Lesani and 11 other Prisoners on Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Abbas Lesani, Turk (Azeri) activist who has been exiled to Adel-Abad prison in Shiraz, started a hunger strike in protest to preventing him from being released and fabricating a new case for him. At the same time, 11 other political prisoners started hunger strike in solidarity with him.

Mohammadreza Afshar Released from Rajaei Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mohammadreza Afshar, a Halgheh theosophy coach, was released from Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj by using 4 days of furlough and receiving pardon.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammadreza Afshar who had summoned on phone ‘for discussing few issues’, on Monday June 29, was arrested and transferred to Evin prison.
