Intelligence Ministry Do not Give Hossain Saketi Taremsari’s Money and Documents back after Being Released

HRANA News Agency – Hossain Saketi Taremsari, known as Stephan, a new converted to Christianity who was released after serving more than one year in prison for preaching Christianity, is still not able get back a considerable amount of money and his identity documents. The only response that he has received is “you’ll receive them when you become a human”.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hossain Saketi Taremsari had been arrested by the intelligence service of Bojnord on July 22, 2013 in Golestan forests. First he was transferred to intelligence service of Jajarm and then Bojnord in Northern Khorasan province. After 15 days in solitary confinement, he was charged with disturbing public order by preaching Christianity, and his case was processed in Aligoodarz court in Alborz province. The Names of 32 Prisoners who Have Been Charged with Muharebeh

HRANA News Agency – More than 70 political prisoners are kept in Rajaei Shahr and Evin prisons who have been charged with Muharebeh. Considering the recent changes in the penal code, they need to be re-tried. After a re-trial most of these prisoners are expected to be released. HRANA published the names of 32 prisoners of these two prisons who have been charged with Muharebeh.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), considering the fact that article 186 has been superseded, political prisoners with the charge of Muharebeh need to be re-tried. Therefore the names of 32 prisoners who are imprisoned in Evin and Rajaei Shahr prisons on this charge are being published by HRANA. Hashmatullah Tabarzadi Arrested and Transferred to Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Hashmatullah Tabarzadi, political activist was arrested by security forces while leaving home and was transferred to Evin prison. He also was questioned in Shahid Moghadas court in Evin prison. Tabarzadi’s family is concerned about the fake cases against him, and about his possible hunger strike.

Afshin Sohrab Zadeh Passed Out and Transferred to a Medical Center

HRANA News Agency – Afshin Sohrab Zadeh, exiled political prisoner in Minab prison, who suffers from cancer, following deterioration of his condition collapsed while vomiting blood. He was transferred urgently to the medical centre outside the prison and after couple of hours was returned to prison while he was still unconscious. Mr. Sohrab Zadeh had been unconscious for 17 hours after his condition had deteriorated.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Afshin Sohrab Zadeh, exiled political prisoner in Minab prison, who suffers from cancer, after the enumeration by the prison guards, at 7 pm went to the ward service and vomited blood and fainted and then he was taken to the prison clinic by other inmates while they thought he had passed away. 2 Prisoners Executed in Urmia Prison

HRANA News Agency – Two prisoners who had been charged with murder, were executed in Urmia prison and another one survived by obtaining the consent of the next of kin.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), two of five prisoners who had been transferred to solitary confinement in Urmia Central Prison were executed, one other got consent, and two others were returned to general ward just after being transferred to solitary confinement. A Report about the Great Prison of Tehran

Mohammad Sadiq Kaboudvand on Hunger Strike in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Sadiq Kaboudvand, imprisoned journalist and head of the Kurdistan Human Rights Organization, despite suffering from many diseases in advanced stages, has gone on hunger strike to protest the recent case against him, since May 8th. His relatives have explained the concerns in an interview with HRANA.

Greenhouse Owners Protested in Gilan Province

HRANA News Agency – Greenhouse owners in Golkhaneh town in Gilan province, a project which began 14 years ago to create jobs for agricultural graduates of this province in 130 pastures of hectares of bison herds of the three villages in the region of Kishestan Somesara in the first phase, in a demonstration called for the support of authorities.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), a budget of about 2000 billion IRR for the construction and commissioning of Golkhane town in Gilan was allocated in 2002 and the project was supposed to be built in an area of 400 hectares in three phases of manufacturing, export terminal, research center of plants and greenhouse so that agricultural graduated youth in the province and country could start their jobs there.
