3 Political Prisoners Tried in Tehran Revolutionary Court

HRANA News Agency – Reza Shahabi, Kamran Ayazi and Omid Zareinejad, were tried for charge of propaganda against the regime which was alleged to them after the events on 17th April (Guards’ riot to ward 350) at branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on 15th February, a trial was held for accusation of propaganda against the regime, against Reza Shahabi, Kamran Ayazi and Omid Zareinejad, at branch 26 of Revolutionary Court, presided by Judge Ahmadzadeh. Arjang Davoodi and Afshin Baimani still Held in Solitary Confinements

HRANA News Agency – Even after a month of transition of Arjang Davoodi and Afshin Baimani to solitary confinement, relatives of these two prisoners have expressed their concern about their situations.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Arjang Davoodi and Afshin Baimani were taken to solitary confinements of Revolutionary Guard’s ward in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, on 18th January from Hall 12 of this prison. 14 Prisoners Executed in a Single Day in Iran

HRANA News Agency – On Monday 16th February, 14 prisoners were executed in Central Prison of Urmia, Vakil Abad prison in Mashhad, Bam prison, and Central Prison of Bandar Abbas.

6 Political Prisoners Started Hunger Strike at Evin Prison in Tehran

HRANA News Agency – Following a complain regarding compulsory use of prison’s yard “to get some fresh air” in winter weather and lack of warm clothing for prisoners in ward 8 of Evin prison, Amir Amirgholi, Aso Rostami and Amir Hushang Navaei were taken to solitary confinements, and they went on hunger strike. Also, 3 other prisoners went on hunger strike until those inmates would be returned to the ward from solitary confinements.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Monday 16th February, despite the winter cold weather and lack of warm clothing, prisoners of ward 8 in Evin prison were forced by prison officials to stay in the prison yard. No Information about Ali Moezi in Solitary Confinement

HRANA New Agency – There is no information about the condition of Ali Moezi, who was transferred again to solitary confinement on 3rd January.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ali Moezi, political prisoner of “Karaj Central Prison”, on 12th of October was transferred to solitary confinement in Evin prison and was kept there until 22nd December. No Information about Ali Rezaei, after 14 Days

HRANA News Agency – There is no information about the status of Ali Rezaei, civil rights activist, who was arrested 14 days ago in Mehrabad airport, and has not had any contact with his family yet.

The Latest Reports about Saman Nassem’s Situation

HRANA News Agency – Saman Naseem, a prisoner in Central Prison of Urmia who was arrested when he was 17, and was sentenced to death on charge of combat against God, was examined for medical purposes. His lawyer and family say that his death sentence is going to be carried out on 19th February.

No Information about Behnam Ibrahimzadeh after 22 Days

HRANA News Agency – After 22 days of solitary confinement in Evin prison, there is no information about Behnam Ibrahimzadeh.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Behnam Ibrahimzadeh was transferred from ward number 2 of Rajai Shahr prison to solitary confinement in ward 209 of Evin prison on January 22, and yet he did not have any phone call or visit with his family.

A close source to him told HRANA’s reporter, “Behnam’s family does not have any information regarding his status and the only response that they received from authorities was that he had been transferred to ward 209 of Evin prison and even the reason for this transfer is unknown”.

Behnam Ibrahimzadeh’s 5 year-imprisonment-sentence will be finished soon, however he has recently been sentenced to another 9 years and four months in prison, for charges related to black Thursday of ward 350 of Evin prison.

Behnam Ibrahimzdeh, labor and children’s rights activist was arrested by security forces on June 12, 2010, and was first in revolutionary court sentenced to 20 years in prison. This sentence was reduced to five years in appeal court. He is currently serving the fourth year of his sentence.
