Hassan Kamal Ramadan Sued the Authorities of Orumiyeh Prison

HRANA News Agency – Hassan Kamal Ramadan, Syrian political prisoner who had been held in solitary confinement with handcuffs and shackles for five days from April 16, 2016 and had been beaten by prison officials of Orumiyeh Central Prison during this period, has registered a complaint in this regard.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), after beating political prisoner from Syria, Hassan Kamal Ramadan for five days by the officials and the guard of ward in the solitary confinement in Orumiyeh Central Prison with handcuffs and shackles, the prisoner sued these individuals through his lawyer. The List of the Names of other 69 Death Row Prisoners in Uremia Prison

HRANA News Agency – More than 100 death row prisoners with drug related charges are kept in Uremia prison. HRANA is trying to get the public attention to this issue with the hope that public awareness could be a help in prevention of these executions. For this reason the names of 69 death row prisoners who have been identified recently, are being published.

In continuation of publishing the names of death row prisoners in Uremia prison, the names of 69 other prisoners who are charged with drug related charges and kept in ward number 15 of Uremia prison is hereby being published. “If You Are Innocent, You Will Go to Heaven.” Judge Told a Death Row Prisoner

HRANA News Agency – Reza Hosseini, 34, from Koohdasht in Lorestan Province, was one of the four prisoners who were executed with drug related charges on Tuesday, May 3. His mother and wife not only did not find the chance to visit him after traveling 840 km, but also were insulted by prison authorities.

Rasoul Bodaghi Arrested by the Security Forces

HRANA News Agency – Rasoul Bodaghi, trade unionist who had been recently released from prison, was arrested by the security forces when he went to hospital to visit Mahmoud Beheshti Lageroodi, Imprisoned teacher who is in hospital.

An Unpublished Sound Track of Farzad Kamangar

HRANA News Agency – Farzad Kamangar, a teacher and human rights activist who was executed in the morning of May 9, 2010 along with Ali Heidarian, Farhad Vakili, Shirin Alam Holi and Mehdi Eslamian in Evin prison, in his short life, due to his human concerns and by his formidable pen wrote open letters addressed to the Iranian society. Letters full of humane emotion, hope, resistance, peace and equality. The letter called; “Be strong Comrades” is one of his latest letters which was written by Farzad in May 2010. The letter was addressed to imprisoned teachers at that time. The sound track of the letter in which Farzad Kamangar reads this letter is being published for the first time, now:

A Prisoner’s Second Eye Will Be Gouged Out in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – Retaliation sentence of “blinding eyes with acid” of the second eye of Mojtaba Yasawoli (Saheli) will be executed in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj on May 17th. Blinding Mojtaba Saheli’s first eye was the first sentence for acid attack crime in Iran which was carried out in 2014. He has been given time to pay the blood money and the cost of treating victim of the acid attack, to avoid the second eye blinding sentence.

A Filmmaker and 2 Musicians on the Verge of Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – The sentences of Hossain Rajabian, Iranian filmmaker Mehdi Rajabian and Yousef Emadi, two musicians have been transmitted to the executive branch, and they are on the verge of imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the sentences of Hossain Rajabia, Mehdi Rajabian and Yousef Emadi, three artists who were sentenced to three years in prison and 200 million IRR fine each, by branch number 54 of the appeal court have been transmitted to branch number one of the executive court. Kaveh Sohrabzadeh Released after the Interrogations

HRANA News Agency – Kaveh Sohrabzadeh, brother of Afshin Sohrabzadeh, political prisoner suffering from cancer, who was arrested because of following his brother’s treatment process, was released after signing a commitment.

Arash Mokri on Hunger Strike in Urmia Intelligence Service since 33 Days ago

HRANA News Agency – Arash Mokri, graduate student at the University of Tabriz, who has been detained since 24th February. It is now more than two months that he has been transferred to Urmia Intelligence Service’s solitary confinement, and it is told that he has gone on hunger strike since 33 days ago, to protest against his situation.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Arash Mokri, son of Saeid, graduate student at Tabriz University, was arrested at his home and was taken to an unknown location by the Revolutionary Guards Intelligence Office in Mahabad on 24th February, and his family was unaware of his whereabouts for a long time.
