8 Arab Activists Sentenced to Death and Imprisonment
HRANA News Agency – Ahwaz Revolutionary Court sentenced two defendants to death on charge of forming “Jond al-Farooq”, and sentenced another 6 defendants from 3 to 25 years imprisonment. The eight defendants are from Arab community of Khuzestan Province who have been detained since 2015.

Abbas Hossein Panahi Released on the Bail
HRANA News Agency – Abbas Hossein Panahi was released on the bail after more than two months. At the same time, it has been reported that Afshin Hossein Panahi has been transferred to the central prison of Sanandaj. However there is still no information about the fate of Ramin Hossein Panahi, the prisoner who was shot and detained by the Revolutionary Guard forces.

No Information about Ramin Hossein Panahi after more than 100 Days of Detention
HRANA News Agency – Afshin Hossein Panahi’s mother, met with her son after about two months since his arrest by the security forces. The meeting was held at the intelligence ministry in Sanandaj with the presence of security guards. The fates of Abbas and Ramin Hossein Panahi are still unknown.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the authorities eventually allowed Afshin Hossein Panahi’s mother to visit her son at the intelligence ministry in Sanandaj with the presence of security guards after 57 days since his arrest. Ali Halafi Serving His 12th Year in Masjed Soleiman Prison
HRANA News Agency – Ali Halafi, Arab citizen from Hamidieh in Khuzestan province, is now held in Masjed Soleiman prison after serving 12 years of imprisonment. The prisoner has been deprived of having furlough and medical treatment during the long years of imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), following a series of explosions and bombings in Ahwaz in 2005, a number of Arab citizens of this city were detained. An Arab Activist Sentenced to 10 Years in Ahwaz
HRANA News Agency – Ali Mazraeh, political activist from Ahwaz, who was charged with acting against national security, had been sentenced to 3 years imprisonment by the preliminary court, after prosecutor’s objection and being retried by Branch 4 of Ahwaz Revolutionary Court, was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.

No Information about Arrested Arab Civilians of Ahwaz
HRANA News Agency – Ahwaz intelligence officers had arrested a number of Arab citizens living in various cities of Khuzestan in June. Despite passage of a few months since the arrest, there is still no information about them.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the intelligence forces had arrested a number of Sunni citizens in Hamidieh of Ahwaz in June. Siamak Mirzaei Ended His Hunger Strike in Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Siamak Mirzaei, Turk (Azeri) activist, ended his hunger strike following completion of case deficiencies and scheduling his trial just according to his primary demand.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Siamak Mirzaei, Turk (Azeri) activist, and prisoner of ward number 8 of Evin prison, who had started a hunger strike on June 17th, in protest to continuous sabotage in the process of his case, high amoun of the bail and also completion of case deficiencies, ended his strike on Tuesday July 4, after his demands were fullfilled. Hossain Daneshmand Sentenced to 10 Years Imprisonment
HRANA News Agency – Hossain Daneshmand, political prisoner of Sanandaj prison, was sentenced to 10 years in prison by branch number 4 of the court of appeal of Kurdistan province.
