HRANA News Agency – Ali Halafi, Arab citizen from Hamidieh in Khuzestan province, is now held in Masjed Soleiman prison after serving 12 years of imprisonment. The prisoner has been deprived of having furlough and medical treatment during the long years of imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), following a series of explosions and bombings in Ahwaz in 2005, a number of Arab citizens of this city were detained. An Arab Activist Sentenced to 10 Years in Ahwaz
HRANA News Agency – Ali Mazraeh, political activist from Ahwaz, who was charged with acting against national security, had been sentenced to 3 years imprisonment by the preliminary court, after prosecutor’s objection and being retried by Branch 4 of Ahwaz Revolutionary Court, was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.

No Information about Arrested Arab Civilians of Ahwaz
HRANA News Agency – Ahwaz intelligence officers had arrested a number of Arab citizens living in various cities of Khuzestan in June. Despite passage of a few months since the arrest, there is still no information about them.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the intelligence forces had arrested a number of Sunni citizens in Hamidieh of Ahwaz in June. Siamak Mirzaei Ended His Hunger Strike in Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Siamak Mirzaei, Turk (Azeri) activist, ended his hunger strike following completion of case deficiencies and scheduling his trial just according to his primary demand.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Siamak Mirzaei, Turk (Azeri) activist, and prisoner of ward number 8 of Evin prison, who had started a hunger strike on June 17th, in protest to continuous sabotage in the process of his case, high amoun of the bail and also completion of case deficiencies, ended his strike on Tuesday July 4, after his demands were fullfilled. Hossain Daneshmand Sentenced to 10 Years Imprisonment
HRANA News Agency – Hossain Daneshmand, political prisoner of Sanandaj prison, was sentenced to 10 years in prison by branch number 4 of the court of appeal of Kurdistan province.

Armed Conflict in Sanandaj: 3 Killed and One Arrested
HRANA News Agency – A number of members of a political party were ambushed near the city of Sanandaj by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards of Hamzeh headquarters. During the clashes between them, three members of the political organization died and one person was arrested while he was injured. After the incident, security forces went to the houses of these people and beat a number of other residents and arrested some others.
According to the report of Human Rights Activist News Agency in Iran (HRANA), four members of a political party were ambushed by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards of Hamzeh headquarters, on Friday, June 22, 2017. During the clash, three members of the party were killed and the fourth person, Ramin Hossein Panahi, was arrested while he was injured from the waist and leg. Abdulaziz Azimi Held in Detention in Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Abdulaziz Azimi, Turkish (Azeri) activists, has been arrested and held in Evin prison, since about four months ago. Within the past few days, a bail of 5 billion IRR has been issued for this prisoner, but due to lack of financial ability of the family, his detention is likely to continue. Mr. Azimi used to manage a channel on Telegram with the name of “Rationality, analysis and action”, and already has a history of arrest.

Saman Naseem Examined by Forensic to Verify His Age
HRANA News Agency – Saman Naseem, death row juvenile offender in Uremia prison was transferred to the court for verification of his age at the time of arrest. The examination was conducted by forensic officers but no result has been publicized yet.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saman Naseem, death row juvenile offender, who is imprisoned in ward number 12 of central prison of Uremia was transferred to the revolutionary court of Uremia in order to be examined regarding his age at the time arrest, by presence of judge and forensic officers on June 1, 2017, even though he had previously been examined and it had been confirmed by the forensic that he was under 18 at the time of the alleged crime. Habib Sasanian Deprived of Medical Treatment in Tabriz Prison
HRANA News Agency – Habib Sasanian, Ardabili poet, despite his illness and lack of proper treatment, is still being held in Tabriz Central Prison. After about a year of uncertainty, a bail of one billion IRR was issued for this prisoner, but as he is not able to provide it, he has to stay in detention.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Habib Sasanian was arrested along with five Turk (Azeri) activists in Ardabil, on May 15, 2016. In July last year, the Chief Justice of East Azerbaijan introduced these activists as “members of 6-member Gamow spying gang”. Jahandar Mohammadi Released from Central Prison of Sanandaj
HRANA News Agency – Jahandar Mohammadi, political prisoner was released from Sanandaj Central Prison, after eleven years of imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Jahandar Mohammadi, political prisoner, had been arrested by the Ministry of Intelligence in Tehran, in April 2006 and was released from ward eight of Sanandaj Central Prison, on February 23, according to the “aggregation of crime and the application of Article 134”.
