HRANA News Agency – The warden of ward 4 in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, has attended Hall 10 of this ward and has told the death row Sunni prisoners that their sentences had been referred to the executive office and the risk of their execution is very high, if they were seeking forgiveness, they should write their letters soon.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the warden of ward four of the Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, Mr. Shojaee, has gone to Hall 10 of this prison, where there are 27 Sunni prisoners, with confirmed death sentences, and announced that all their verdicts had been referred to the executive office and the risk of their execution was very high on Saturday 30th April. He has told them: “If you are seeking forgiveness, you should write the requests soon. Afshin Sohrabzadeh’s Brother Arrested by the IRGC Agents
HRANA News Agency – Kaveh Sohrabzadeh, Afshin Sohrabzadeh’s brother, political prisoner who suffers from cancer, was arrested after following his brother’s medical treatment, by the IRGC agents.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the IRGC agents in Kermanshah arrested Kaveh Sohrabzadeh when he was about to leave his home, without any warrant and transferred him to the Revolutionary Guards Intelligence Office in Kermanshah (Shahid Siahkamari). The List of the Names of 55 Death Row Prisoners in Uremia Prison
HRANA News Agency – at least 100 prisoners with homicide charges are kept on wards number 4 and 5 in Uremia prison. HRANA is trying to gain public attention in order to save them from execution by publicizing their identities. For this reason identity of 55 prisoners under death row is following.
According to Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) – following call of around 100 prisoners in Uremia prison by authorities and announcement of “deciding their faith” on next three months and finding complaints addresses, identity of 56 prisoners who are mainly charged with homicide and are kept in ward 4 and 5 of prison, is publicizing by HRANA. “My Father’s Cup of Tea Was Still on the Table”; the Report of a Disappearance
HRANA News Agency – Yousef Silavi has disappeared since November 8, 2009, few days after his arrival in Iran after visiting his daughters in Syria, and despite his family’s efforts there is no information about his faith. He was questioned in the Iranian embassy in Syria along with his daughter while he did not have any political activities. According to unofficial statements of the security authorities, he is a hostage in order to force his daughters Mona and Shima, who are helping in translation for Arab asylum seekers, to go back to Iran. But no security organization takes the responsibility of his arrest, neither do they issue a death certificate for him.

A Comprehensive Report about Ward 7 of Evin Prison in Tehran
HRANA News Agency – Ward number 7 of Evin prison composed of 8 halls is one the infamous wards of this prison, where mainly prisoners with financial crimes are being kept it. But at least 55 political-security prisoners are kept in this ward along with dangerous prisoners with drug smuggling and financial crimes in a very bad condition, in contrast with the separation of prisoners’ act, and are serving their long term sentences. There are at least 30 prisoners with HIV in this ward as well. The following report is about the condition of this ward, based on the interviews with first hand witnesses.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), ward number 7 of Evin prison is composed of 8 sections as following: Hall number one, allotted to drug addicted and financial prisoners (subbasement), hall number two allotted to financial and seamstress prisoners who are working in prison, halls number 3 to 6 allotted to financial prisoners, Jahad ward (known also as hall number 11) allotted to financial prisoners and prisoners who are working in ward seven’s facility plan, and hall number 12 (subbasement) allotted to political-security prisoners and financial prisoners charged with document forgery and scam. Ahmad Karimi Beginning the 8th Year of Imprisonment
HRANA News Agency – Ahmad Karimi, political prisoner is about to start the eighth year of his imprisonment in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, while he has not had any furlough during this period of time. Mr. Karimi is in an uncertain situation waiting for the outcome of his appeal.

The 3rd Anniversary of Nikmard Taheri’s Self-Immolation Held on his Tomb
HRANA News Agency – The third anniversary of “Nikmard Taheri”, Yarsany citizen’s self-immolation in protest against the desecration of one of his fellows, was held with attendance of hundreds of Yarsan followers on his tomb. Ali Akbar Baghani Exiled to the City of Zabol
HRANA News Agency – At the same time with the “Teachers day” in Iran, Ali Akbar Baghani, Vice-President of the Teachers Union, who was recently released from prison, in continuation of his sentence was exiled for 10 years to Zabol city in Sistan and Baloochestan province.

Afshin Sohrabzadeh; Getting one Step Closer to Death Every Day
HRANA News Agency – According to the documents that received by HRANA, prison authorities confirmed that Afshin Sohrabzadeh, political prisoner, is diagnosed with clone cancer. The head of the prison has clearly stated that Afshin Sohrabzadeh has survived from death at least once. He emphasizes on the importance of transfer of Afshin Sohrabzadeh to a hospital and also asks that Afshin Sohrabzadeh serves the rest of his sentence in a bigger and more equipped prison. Meanwhile this prisoner needs financial supports from Iranians for continuation of his medical treatment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Afshin Sohrabzadeh political prisoner who is suffering from clone cancer, has survived once from certain death according to the physicians. The head of Minab prison has confirmed his disease and emphasized that he needed to be hospitalized for proper medical treatment in Hormozgan province. However and despite the dangerous condition of this prisoner, he is still in limbo and without medical treatment in Minab prison. At Least 4 Prisoners Hanged In Ghezelhesar Prison In Karaj
HRANA News Agency – The death sentences of at least four prisoners with drug related charges were executed in Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj. Three of these prisoners were kept in Ghezelhesar prison and the other one was kept in Great Prison of Tehran (Fashafooyeh).
