A Brief Report about the Diesel Abad Prison of Kermanshah
HRANA News Agency – Diesel Abad Prison in the West of Kermanshah, has been formed of 10 wards and 6 halls. In the report, prisoners said about the maltreatment and being beaten by prison officials, poor quality and lack of food, poor sanitation and lack of medical attention. According to the official reports the prison population is much greater than the capacity of the prison.

Shahram Ahmadi; The 7th Year of Imprisonment on Death Row
HRANA News Agency – Shahram Ahmadi, Sunni prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison, who has been held in different prisons since 2009 and has been faced misbehaviors, is starting his eighth year of imprisonment, while he is in death raw on charge of “Muharebeh”. This report is a diary of this prisoner’s 7 years of imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Shahram Ahmadi was shot several times by the security forces without any warning, when he was returning back from mosque in Sanandaj, and security agents arrested him after being punched and kicked and they broke his nose, on 26th April 2009. When Shahram Ahmadi woke up in the hospital, he realized that the doctors had already removed one of his kidneys and a part of his bowel. This prisoner for several months was interrogated under torture in the solitary confinement in the Ministry of Intelligence in Sanandaj and Zanjan. Prisoners Held in Solitary Confinements Despite Severe Injuries
HRANA News Agency – Following the collective dispute, a number of prisoners in Rajai Shahr prison are kept in inhumane conditions in the solitary confinements and are deprived of basic sanitary facilities since March 21, 2016. The prison officials illegally returned some of these prisoners to the previous hall where the conflict happened and allowed the prisoners to beat them.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on March 21, 2016, a collective conflict happened between the prisoners at ward 6 of hall 18 that ended in serious injuries for three prisoners and the death of another prisoner.
