Abbas Sadeghpour Arrested and Transferred to Gachsaran Prison

HRANA News Agency – Abbas Sadeghpour, civil activist, has been arrested and sent to Gachsaran prison to serve his six month imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mr. Abbas Sadeghpour, resident of Deil village of Gachsaran, in Kohkiloyeh and Boyer Ahmad province, had been arrested along with 7 other youth from his village in December 2014 by the Revolutionary Guards, on charges of publishing and distribution statement against the government, and their homes were searched and inspected. Authorities Prevent Mehdi Khodai from Being Released

HRANA News Agency – Although a quite long time has passed from the time that Seyed Mehdi Khodaei should had been released from prison, but his family was threatened to pursue his case, by the authorities of Branch 54 of the General and Revolutionary Appeal Courts in Tehran, when this imprisoned human rights activist’s family chased his case in this Branch.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), during the last days judge Poor Arab, president of the court of the Appeal, Branch 54, had told the family of Mr. Khodaei, that with regard to the application of Article 134 of the Penal Code Act 2013, their son’s sentence has been reduced from 7 years to 5 years. As he has spent more than five years and a half of his imprisonment, his family attempted to follow the process of his freedom, surprisingly, authorities of Branch 54, behaving offensively, gave them a warning, with respect to any follow-up on the situation of the case. Mohammad Amin Agoshi’s Daughter Passed Away after Committing Suicide

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Amin Agoshi was informed that he should collect the body of his 22-year-old daughter, who has committed suicide, from forensic office in Piranshahr, while he was going on an unexpected leave, upon exiting the prison of Zahedan.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the authorities had subjected the delivery of the body to his father’s presence, as this prisoner’s wife had died after a serious illness, so that, Mr. Agoshi was unexpectedly sent on leave, on Tuesday 30th June, and just on the exit door of the prison he was informed that his daughter has hanged herself and passed away and he needed to go to the Forensic office in Piranshahr, in West Azerbaijan province. Heshmatollah Tabarzadi Released from Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Heshmatollah Tabarzadi, political prisoner, was released from prison, after almost 5 and a half years imprisonment.

Four Bahais from Rasht Free on Bail

HRANA News Agency – Foad Yazdani and his son Peyman Yazdani, and Nima Najafi and his wife Paria Keshvar, have been released on bail in Rasht.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Foad and Peyman Yazdani were arrested on May 26, 2015. Nima Najafi and Paria Keshvar were arrested on May 28. Three other Iranians, who are not Bahais, were arrested at about the same time and charged with having links with Bahais. All seven were taken to the Ministry of Intelligence in Rasht. Aso Rostami Suffering from Lung Infection in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Aso Rostami, civil rights activist who is imprisoned in ward number 8 of Evin prison, is suffering from lung infection and bleeding, but has not received proper medical treatment yet.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), after two weeks of coughing, from Wednesday July 1st this prisoner has blood in his coughs and he is in a very bad condition.
A close source to this prisoner told HRANA’s reporter, “breathing problem of this prisoner is increasing, and since June 15 he is using oxygen and there is blood in his coughs. When the prison’s physician visited him after two weeks and Aso requested for being transferred to a hospital, he responded: ‘I decide about it, not you’ “.
Aso Rostami is a 28-year-old civil rights activist who was arrested after the gathering in front of UN office which was held for showing solidarity with Kobani, on October 8, 2014 along with other activists, and after interrogation process, was transferred to ward number 8 of Evin.
He has been sentenced to 7 years in prison on charges of propaganda against the regime, collusion against the national security and insulting supreme leader. His trial, along with three others in branch number 28 of the revolutionary court with chief judge Moghiseh took only 15 minutes, and these defendants received in total of 18 years in prison.
Other allegations against this prisoner are, cyber activities and criticizing human rights condition of Iran, sympathy with political prisoner’s families and death row prisoners, attending the rally in solidarity with Kobani, sympathy with the families of 2009 victims and having contact with human rights activist.
Aso Rostami is currently in the 9th months of detention, and kept in ward number 8 of Evin prison and waiting for the verdict of the appeal court.

HRANA News Agency – Akam Talaj, one of the wounded people in Mahabad May protests, passed away after 50 day of hospitalization, on Monday 29th June.
