HRANA New Agency – Rasool Abdullahi, new Christian Convert, was released from Rajai Shahr Prison, in Karaj.

Extensive Raids in Tehran and Isfahan: 17 Bahais Arrested

HRANA News Agency – On February 16 and 17, security officers raided and searched the homes of Bahais in Tehran and Isfahan, and arrested 17 Bahais.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), in Tehran, the homes of Sasan Yadegar, Ehsan Yadegar, Arghavan Eshraqi and Mehrdad Furqani were raided, and all the books, desktop computers, tablets and mobile phones were seized. Peyman Mirzaee Transferred to Karaj Rajaee Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Peyman Mirzaee, one of the activists of Erfan Halghe Mysticism who was arrested in a protest gathering a while ago, has been transferred to Karaj Rajaee Shahr Prison.

Alizadeh Tabatabaie’s Remarks about Mohammad Ali Taheri’s Case

HRANA News Agency – In an interview, Seyed Mahmoud Alizadeh Tabatabaie the lawyer of Mohammad Ali Taheri (the founder of Erfan Halghe Mysticism), described details and the latest on his case  and announced that there will be a hearing for Mohammad Ali Taheri In the future  while mentioned that there is no fresh charges on his case.

HRANA reports that, in his interview with Mashregh, Seyed Mahmoud Alizadeh Tabatabaie said: several days ago I had a meeting with Mohammad Ali Taheri and although some websites wrote that he was transferred and his location is unknown, he is at Evin Prison and he also has received a visit by his family. Farah Baghi Begins Her Sentence in Yazd

HRANA News Agency – Farah Baghi, a Bahai from Yazd who has been sentenced to one year in prison and a one-year suspended sentence, has reported to prison in Yazd to begin her sentence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), she had previously been informed that she would begin her sentence on February 13, but on February 9 security officers appeared at her door to take her to prison. Court Rejects Complaint of Several Bahai Students

HRANA News Agency – Following the announcement of results from Iran’s national secondary school graduation exam for this academic year, many Bahai youth who achieved good marks, sufficient for entry even to the best of the state-controlled universities, found they were rejected from university due to “defects in the file.”

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), some of these students filed a legal complaint, which after overcoming various obstacles was actually received and considered by a branch of the Administrative Court. Manuchher Khalousi Sentenced: Six Years for Being a Bahai

HRANA News Agency – The Revolutionary Court in the city of Mashhad has sentenced Manuchher Khalousi to six years in prison for his Bahai beliefs.

Two Bahais Begin their Sentences in Arak and Kerman

HRANA News Agency – On January 31, Navid Haqiqi and Shahram Falah reported to prisons in Arak and Kerman, respectively, to begin serving 3-year sentences for their faith.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), in August 2012, 20 Bahais were arrested in central Iran: 10 in Yazd and Isfahan and 10 others in towns and cities such as Shahin Shahr, Vila Shahr, Arak and Kerman. Erfane Halghe Instructors Received 37 Years Imprisonment Sentence

HRANA News Agency – 16 instructors of “Erfane Halghe” (Interuniversalism Mysticism) have been sentenced to 37 years imprisonment and to pay 130 million Toman fine.

According to HRANA based on the report of Fars News Agency, 40 instructors of Erfane Halghe who held teaching sessions of “Erfane Halghe” have been arrested and 16 of them charged, prosecuted and sentenced. These 16 individuals were instructors (Master) of Erfane Halghe, who held teaching sessions after Mohammad Ali Taheri was arrested.
