HRANA News Agency – Mahna Samandari and Narges Khatounbarqi, two Bahais from Tabriz whose burial in the city has been blocked because of their religious beliefs, have been taken to Miandoab by local officials and buried in the Bahai cemetery there, without informing the families of the deceased.

HRANA News Agency – “Mohammad Ali Taheri”, a prisoner of conscience is in life threatening health condition because of his hunger strike. After 23 days of hunger strike, he is extremely weak and has been recovered several times over the past couple of days from unconsciousness by injecting fluids and drugs at prison’s clinic.
HRANA reports based on the news from “Sahamnews”, this prisoner has been on hunger strike in protest to his case which remained open in the charges of “Corruption on earth”. His instigators attempting to keep him at solitary confinement and use this time to create more evidence and grounds to prosecute him at a “Kangaroo court” to give him a death sentence. HRANA News Agency – 16 Sunni converts from Iran’s Ahwazi Arab minority were arrested on Monday during a Qur’an class in the Shekara district of Ahwaz city, Iran.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the men were arrested after Iranian security forces raided the house of one of the men, Mohammad Timas Silawi, where the men had gathered for a Qur’an and Arabic language class. HRANA News Agency – last week, Mohammad Ali Taheri was summoned to the court from Solitary Confinement at Ward 2-A of Evin Prison while he was on hunger strike and was suffering from extreme weakness.
According to the report of HRANA, quoting from a close news site to Mohammad Ali Taheri, last week, while Mr Taheri was in extreme state of weakness due to his second week of hunger strike, he was summoned to the court from solitary confinement at Ward 2-A of Evin Prison. HRANA News Agency – The family of Narges Khatounbarqi, an 85-year old Bahai who died in her home on November 7, have been barred from burying her in the general cemetery in Tabriz, the ‘Valley of Mercy’ cemetery.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the family took Mrs. Khatounbarqi’s body to the cemetery on the day after her death, but the officials at the cemetery balked because she was a Bahai, saying she could only be buried there in accordance with Muslim rites.
