The Names of 32 Prisoners who Have Been Charged with Muharebeh

HRANA News Agency – More than 70 political prisoners are kept in Rajaei Shahr and Evin prisons who have been charged with Muharebeh. Considering the recent changes in the penal code, they need to be re-tried. After a re-trial most of these prisoners are expected to be released. HRANA published the names of 32 prisoners of these two prisons who have been charged with Muharebeh.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), considering the fact that article 186 has been superseded, political prisoners with the charge of Muharebeh need to be re-tried. Therefore the names of 32 prisoners who are imprisoned in Evin and Rajaei Shahr prisons on this charge are being published by HRANA. 2 Prisoners Executed in Urmia Prison

HRANA News Agency – Two prisoners who had been charged with murder, were executed in Urmia prison and another one survived by obtaining the consent of the next of kin.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), two of five prisoners who had been transferred to solitary confinement in Urmia Central Prison were executed, one other got consent, and two others were returned to general ward just after being transferred to solitary confinement. 6 Prisoners Executed in Urmia

HRANA News Agency – The death sentences of 6 prisoners who were charged with drug related crimes and had been transferred to solitary confinements, was executed in the Central Prison of Urmia.

2 Prisoners Executed in Urmia Prison

HRANA News Agency – Two of the six prisoners who had been sentenced to death, were executed following lack of consent by the plaintiff in the Central Prison of Urmia, and the other four were returned to the general ward.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), two of six prisoners, who had been taken to solitary confinement in the Central Prison of Urmia, were executed and two of them obtained the plaintiff’s consents and the other two received respite for one month and for 5 days respectively. At Least 2 Prisoners Executed in Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – At least two prisoners were executed in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, and a number of other prisoners were returned to the cell from the gallows.

The List of the Names of other 69 Death Row Prisoners in Uremia Prison

HRANA News Agency – More than 100 death row prisoners with drug related charges are kept in Uremia prison. HRANA is trying to get the public attention to this issue with the hope that public awareness could be a help in prevention of these executions. For this reason the names of 69 death row prisoners who have been identified recently, are being published.

In continuation of publishing the names of death row prisoners in Uremia prison, the names of 69 other prisoners who are charged with drug related charges and kept in ward number 15 of Uremia prison is hereby being published. “If You Are Innocent, You Will Go to Heaven.” Judge Told a Death Row Prisoner

HRANA News Agency – Reza Hosseini, 34, from Koohdasht in Lorestan Province, was one of the four prisoners who were executed with drug related charges on Tuesday, May 3. His mother and wife not only did not find the chance to visit him after traveling 840 km, but also were insulted by prison authorities.

An Unpublished Sound Track of Farzad Kamangar

HRANA News Agency – Farzad Kamangar, a teacher and human rights activist who was executed in the morning of May 9, 2010 along with Ali Heidarian, Farhad Vakili, Shirin Alam Holi and Mehdi Eslamian in Evin prison, in his short life, due to his human concerns and by his formidable pen wrote open letters addressed to the Iranian society. Letters full of humane emotion, hope, resistance, peace and equality. The letter called; “Be strong Comrades” is one of his latest letters which was written by Farzad in May 2010. A Prisoner’s Second Eye Will Be Gouged Out in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – Retaliation sentence of “blinding eyes with acid” of the second eye of Mojtaba Yasawoli (Saheli) will be executed in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj on May 17th. Blinding Mojtaba Saheli’s first eye was the first sentence for acid attack crime in Iran which was carried out in 2014. He has been given time to pay the blood money and the cost of treating victim of the acid attack, to avoid the second eye blinding sentence.

The Graves of 5 Political Prisoners Executed on May 9, 2010 Are still Unknown

HRANA News Agency – On May 9, 2010, Farzad Kamangar, teacher and human rights activist, along with four other political prisoners named Ali Heydarian, Shirin Alam Holi, Farhad Vakili and Mehdi Eslamian were executed after a flawed judicial process, secretly and without the knowledge of their lawyers and families at the parking of Evin prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the execution verdict of Farzad Kamangar and four other prisoners among the unprecedented wave of domestically and internationally protests, was carried out while according to the documents, their judicial process was full of specific cases of rights violation including detention in contravention of the law, the long-term maintenance in solitary confinement without access to a lawyer during detention, physical and psychological torture against them especially in the case of three of them in detention centers of Sanandaj and Kermanshah, as well as numerous procedural violations, so that at least three of the defendants (Farzad Kamangar, Farhad Vakili and Ali Heydarian) were known as “Muhareb” and the death sentence was issued a for them without their chance of defense in a seven-minute-long court.
