24 Shops of Baha’is in Sari Sealed

HRANA News Agency – During the first days of November, at least 24 shops belonging to Baha’is were sealed in Sari, Mazandaran provincial capital.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on November 1 and 2 that mark the “birth of Bahá’u’lláh and Bob – founder of the Babi and Baha’i religion”, at least 24 shops of Baha’i citizens have been sealed by law enforcement agencies in Sari. Number of Executed Prisoners in Ghezelhesar Prison Rose to 12

HRANA News Agency – With authentication of the identity of another inmate who was executed at Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj, the number of victims rose to 12. Lack of communication with other prisoners and families of prisoners and holding him in the ward of prisoners with mental problems, is one of the reasons for the delay in identifying the prisoner who was executed.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), with authentication of the identity of a prisoner who was executed, the number of executed prisoners on Wednesday, October 19 in Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj rose to 12 prisoners. This is while the judiciary and parliament members have continuously talked about their plans for reduction of execution for prisoners with drug related charges. At Least 5 Supporters of Mohammad Ali Taheri Remain Detained

HRANA News Agency – After releasing ten people of at least 15 people detained in the rally by Mohammad Ali Taheri’s supporters in front of Baqiatullah Hospital, five people remain in the “Vozara Building” in detention.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), despite issuance of a bail and showing payslips by the families, these five detainees, who have been arrested in front of Baqiatullah Hospital, are still in detention. 2 Prisoners Committed Suicide in Ghezelhesar Prison

HRANA News Agency – On October 26, two prisoners committed suicide in Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj. One of the prisoners died and the other remains in coma. It is said the prisoners who had attempted suicide due to the pressures of the recent mass executions and fear of death.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on October 26, 2016, two death row prisoners in section 2 of hall 2 of Ghezelhesar Prison in Karaj committed suicide, one of whom died and another is hospitalized in coma. At Least 11 Prisoners Executed in Ghezelhesar Prison / Additional Information

HRANA News Agency – The identity of another executed prisoner was confirmed by HRANA, and the number of confirmed executions reached to 11. This is while the judiciary and parliament members have continuously talked about their plans for reduction of execution for prisoners with drug related charges.

Golrokh Irai Arrested and Transferred to Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Golrokh Irai, Arash Sadeghi’s wife was arrested by security forces. They broke the house door and transferred her to Evin prison in order to serve her sentence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Golrokh Irai was arrested by security forces, after they broke the door of the house, and transferred to Evin prison in order to serve her 6 years of imprisonment, even though she had not received a notification. Arrested Participants of Reyhaneh Jabbari’s Memorial Released

HRANA News Agency – All of the people who had been arrested by security forces during the memorial of Reyhaneh Jabbari, in Behsht-e-Zahra, were released. Previously HRANA had reported that security forces had used violence and broken many of the provided equipment for the ceremony, dismantled the platform and gathered the chairs and told the guests to leave.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), plainclothes forces with the support of security police intervened and stopped the anniversary of Reyhaneh Jabbari’s execution to be held on her tomb, and arrested Sholeh Pakravan, Mohammad Nourizad and some of the attendees. Behnam Ibrahimzadeh Transferred to Hall 12 of Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Rajaei Shahr prison security forces interrogated and seized the diary of Behnam Ibrahimzadeh, labour activist. He was forcefully transferred from ward 2 of Dar-Al-Quran to hall number 12 of political-security prisoners in ward number 4, by the excuse of going to clinic.
