HRANA News Agency – At least 5 political prisoners of Evin Prison named Ali Hashemi, Hadi Haidari, Keyvan Mehregan, Mostafa Tajzadeh and Mostafa Azizi were released for Nowruz furlough. There is the possibility of more prisoners being sent to furlough.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), by the agreement of judicial and prison authorities with Nowruz furlough of a number of political prisoners in Evin Prison, at least 5 prisoners were released from the prison. Amnesty International Concerned about Hussein Rafie’s Situation
HRANA News Agency – Amnesty International in a statement on the situation of Mr. Hussein Rafie, a retired university professor, 71-year-old and conscience prisoner, has expressed concern over Tehran’s Evin prison and demanded immediate action in this case.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Amnesty International said in a statement that the six years in prison sentence of Mr. Hussein Rafie, a conscience prisoners and retired university professor which was due to his peaceful political activities, has been confirmed in appeals court. Mortaza Noor Mohammadi Released on the Bail after the Trial
HRANA News Agency – Mortaza Noor Mohammadi, Turk (Azeri) civil activist, who had attended the Revolutionary Court in Shabestar due to the complaints of Disciplinary and Places Office of this city, on Monday March 14th, and was tried, has been released temporarily on the bail of 20 million tomans.

Motaleb Ahmadian Returned to Sanandaj Prison
HRANA News Agency – Motaleb Ahmadian, political prisoner who had been transferred to an unknown location from Sanandaj prison, was returned from Saghez prison, after completion of the investigations, on Saturday.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Motaleb Ahmadian had been unexpectedly transferred to an unknown location from Sanandaj prison, last week, and being unaware of his fate, had concerned his family. Authorities Reject Fariborz Kardar’s Parole Request
HRANA News Agency – Prosecution authorities do not agree with Fariborz Kardar’s parole request. The poet imprisoned in ward 7 of Evin was arrested in October 2013 on charges of critical activities in social networks, and particularly Facebook and has been detained in Evin prison since then.

Chained Prisoners in Orumieh Prison Transferred to Solitary Confinements
HRANA News Agency – Omid Rahmani and Rasoul Shokri, two prisoners of Uremia prison with financial charges who were chained to the cells doors for protesting by hunger strike, in order to be “a lesson for other prisoners” on Sunday March 13th, were transferred inside the cell. These prisoners are still on hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Omid Rahmani and Rasoul Shokri, two prisoners with financial charges who have been kept in Uremia prison since 2011, started a hunger strike in protest to negligence to their cases. However, despite regular manner of sending prisoners to the solitary confinement, they were chained with handcuffs and shackles to the cells door in order to be “a lesson for other prisoners” for three days. Mohsen Shoja Released Temporarily from Evin Prison
HRANA News Agency – Mohsen Shoja, civil rights activist, and one of the arrestees during a sit-in in front of Evin prison, who introduced himself to Evin prison to endure his 91-day sentence, on 16th March was released temporarily by the approval of the head of enforcement branch on 17th March and must introduce himself to Evin prison on April 3, 2016.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), about four months ago, he was arrested at a sit-in in front of Evin prison and was sentenced to 91 days imprisonment and 74 suspended lashes in branch 1060, by Judge Farshid Dehghan on charge of “disturbing the public order through turbulence”. Mostafa Salimi, 13 Years on Death Row in Saqez Prison
HRANA News Agency – Mostafa Salimi is on death row in Saqez prison since 13 years. This prisoner has been arrested on April 6, 2003.
