Golrokh Irai and Atena Daemi Beaten and Exiled to Garchak Prison

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi, human rights activist in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, has gone on hunger strike on January 27, 2018, following his wife, Golrokh Irai and Atena Daemi were beaten and exiled. He has gone on hunger strike while he is suffering from severe illness and physical weakness.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Golrokh Irai and Atena Daemi were beaten in Evin prison and exiled to Garchak prison in Varamin on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Supreme Court Rejected Marjan Davari’s Death Sentence

HRANA News Agency – Branch 47 of the Supreme Court rejected the death sentence of Marjan Davari, 50-year-old translator and scholar in Shahr Ray women’s prison, who had been sentenced to death on charge of corruption in 2017. One of the charges against Mrs. Davari is membership in Eckankar. It is said that the death sentence of Karim Zarger has been confirmed by the judicial authorities.

A Reported about the an Imprisoned Couple

HRANA News Agency – Hassan Sadeghi and Fateme Mosana, the imprisoned couple in the prisons of Rajai Shahr and Evin, were arrested in February 2012 due to holding the funeral ceremony for Mr. Sadeghi’s father, who was an opponent of the Iranian government and was arrested with his two children, 16 and 11 years old, and his house was sealed.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Fateme Mosana is in women’s ward of Evin Prison and her husband, Hassan Sadeghi is in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, serving their 15-year-imprisonment sentence. Khadijeh Nisi, Arab Activist, Arrested in Ahwaz

HRANA News Agency – Khadijeh Nisi was arrested by security forces after participating in the gathering of Ahwazi protesters to the events of the village of Jalisi Balla in the district of Dehloran in Ahwaz on Friday, December 8, 2017.

Fahimeh Isma’ili Released after Serving 12 Years

HRANA News Agency – Fahimeh Isma’ili, an Arab political activist, was released from jail after being imprisoned for 12 years. The husband of this political prisoner who was arrested at the same time was executed on charge of Moharebeh in 2006.

Atena Daemi Received Medical Treatment after a Long Delay

HRANA News Agency – Atena Daemi civic activist in Evin prison was eventually hospitalized and underwent a surgery in Tehran with a long delay after several cancellations of medical programs on October 8, 2017. The previous deportation was canceled by the authorities because of her refusal to close the bracelets and pendants in the surgery room.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), after a long period of misery at clinic of Evin Prison, Atena Daemi was able to be sent to the hospital and be under the surgical removal of the gallbladder. Her previous surgery appointment on September 25, 2017 was canceled due to her refusal to close the bracelets and pendants in the surgery room. Evin Prison’s Clinic Refusing to Treat Atena Daemi

Herana News Agency – While social networks in recent days are reporting and following the status of Alireza Rajaie, a former political prisoner whose illness led to advanced cancer due to lack of attention from prison authorities, and in spite of the fact that the judiciary’s spokesman does not admit their responsibility for such deficiencies, Atena Daemi, for the similar reasons is suffering from simple kidney and gallbladder problems that began several months ago, which has the potential injuries for bile ducts due to retaliation by the head of Evin’s infirmary.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), in late May, at the end of the Atena Daemi’s hunger strike, a specialist physician at an out-of-prison clinic visited this prisoner and because of gallbladder problems, ordered her to be admitted to hospital. However, with the intervention of Evin Prison infirmary and “Abbas Khani”, head of the infirmary who accused Ms. Daemi of simulation, she was returned to the prison and did not get the necessary medical services. Mahmoud Masoumi and Elham Rasouli Sentenced to Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – According the verdict issued by Judge Moghiseh of Branch 28 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, Mahmoud Masoumi and Elham Rasouli Baghi, two civil activists were respectively sentenced to 12 years and 1 year imprisonment due to attending the protest gatherings, contacts with the families of detained activists and insulting the leader.

The Latest List of the Prisoners in Women’s Ward of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – In women’s ward of Evin prison, there are many mothers who are imprisoned with political and security charges. They are being kept in an inappropriate condition and without having sufficient phone call time, and very limited visits. The condition of this ward resulted in spreading of women and different diseases among the prisoners.

Golrokh Ebrahimi Irai Must Serve Another 22 Months

HRANA News Agency – Golrokh Ebrahimi Irai, imprisoned human rights activist, is still in Evin prison as well as her husband, Arash Sadeghi. Mrs. Irai has been in prison since 2016 and after a while her imprisonment sentence was reduced from 60 months to 30 months.

According to the report of Human Rights Activist News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Golrokh Ebrahimi Irai, imprisoned civil activist in the Women’s Ward of Evin Prison, will remain in jail for no more than 22 months until being released.
