4 Executed Sunni Prisoners Explain Their Cases / Video Footage

HRANA News Agency – At least 20 Sunni prisoners were executed by hanging in Rajaei Shahr prison, all of whom were charged with membership or cooperation with Tohid and Jihad group. These prisoners were arrested about 8 years ago. Jahangir Dehghani, Jamshid Dehghani, Kamal Moulayi and Hamed Ahmadi were four prisoners that had a chance to publish what their case was made of and what they were accused of. HRANA had published this video in 2013, but due to importance of clarification about the process of these cases, we publish this video again.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on August 4, the Intelligence Ministry published a statement about the case that is famous as Tohid and Jihad and by giving some explanations accused them to have ties with terrorist activities. 6 Sunni Prisoners Executed in Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Molai, Jamshid Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani, Sedigh Mohammadi and Seyed Hadi Hosseini were executed this morning in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj.

Last Efforts to Stop 6 Sunni Prisoners’ Execution

HRANA News Agency – Although the authorities transferred 6 Sunni prisoners to solitary confinements spontaneously, human rights activists are doing their best to convince the authorities to halt their execution.

Families of Sunni Prisoners Gather in front of Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – The families of 6 death row Sunni prisoners have gathered in front of Rajai Shahr Prison. At the same time the doors of all halls are locked and special forces are placed in the main corridor of prison.

21 Prisoners to Be Executed in Alborz Province by Tomorrow Morning

HRANA News Agency – 15 death row prisoners of Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj have been taken to solitary confinements. Considering 6 Sunni prisoners who are scheduled to be executed tomorrow, 21 prisoners are going to be executed in Alborz Province by the next dawn.

6 Sunni Prisoners Scheduled to Be Executed by Tomorrow Morning

HRANA News Agency – Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Molai, Jamshid Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani, Sedigh Mohammadi and Seyed Hadi Hosseini has been taken to solitary confinements to be executed. At least 77 Sunni prisoners have gone on hunger strike in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj in protest at this decision.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), today at 8:30 am, Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Molai, Jamshid Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani, Sedigh Mohammadi and Seyed Hadi Hosseini were taken out of section 10 of Rajai Shahr Prison in order to be executed by tomorrow morning. 6 Sunni prisoners on day 33 of hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – Despite the physical weakness and severe condition of six Sunni prisoners of conscientious of Ghezelhesar prison on the 33rd day of their hunger strike, there is no sign of consideration from prison authorities.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the condition of six Sunni prisoners of conscientious has reached a critical point but yet, they have not received any response from authorities.

 

An informed source told to HRANA’s reporter: “Sunni prisoners have lost their ability to move and any time there might be a bad news from prison.”

 

Last Thursday, when prisoners wanted to use prison telephones which is located in an open area, authorities kept these prisoners for three hours on their return under snowfall.

 

Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Moulayi, Jamshid Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani, Sedigh Mohammadi and Seyed Hadi Hosseini are in hunger strike, since Monday, November 4, 2013, in response to separation of criminal law negligence and their death sentences.

23 political prisoners on one-day hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – At least 23 political and conscientious prisoners of Ghezelhesar, Rajaeishahr and Uremia prison went on hunger strike in a symbolic movement, in response to wave of executions, which has been coinciding since the new administration has come to power.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this strike which is in response to political executions of Kurd and Baloch prisoners has started on Wednesday November 4th, on those three prisons. According to reports from Uremia prison intelligent service forces of Uremia transferred five prisoners with the names of 1) Ahmad Tamouyi 2) Yousef Kakeh Memi 3) Ali Ahmad Salimian 4)Mostafa Ali Ahmad 5) Jahangir Badoozadeh, who wanted to attend on this strike to an unknown location the day before. HRANA News Agency – Prisoners of conscientious who are sentenced to death, entered to 27th day of their hunger strike.

18 political prisoners’ hunger strike turned the day 11th

HRANA News Agency – Eighteen political prisoner who were arrested on security charges started hunger strike since 11 days ago in Rajaie Shahr prison and Ghezel Hesar prison.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), six of the political prisoners sentenced to death and the rest of them sentenced to longterm imprisonment. Their hunger strike is in protest to transferring the six sentenced to death political prisoners to Ghezel Hesar prison and demanding re-investigating and fair trial for their dossiers.
Jamshid Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani, Hadi Hossaini, Sedigh Mohammadi, Hamed Ahmadi and Kamal Mollaie in Ghezel Hesar prison and Ahmad Nasiri in Rajaie Shahr prison are the political prisoners who sentenced to death.
Also Sirous Hamidi sentenced to twenty years imprisonment, Jamal Soleimani to eleven years imprisonment, Jabbar to ten years imprisonment, Jamal Ghaderi to eight years imprisonment and Parviz Osmani to five years imprisonment are the names of the others who are spending their imprisonment in Rajaie Shahr prison of Karaj.
Besides of the above list there are some other detained in uncertain situation without trial and have not been sentenced yet. The followings are their names with their uncertain situation amount of time:
– Behrooz Shahnazari for forty five months
– Taleb Maleki for forty one months
– Pouria Mohammadi for thirty nine months
– Keikhosro Sharafipour for twenty six months
– Amel Diadashti for nineteen months
– Edris Ne’mati for twenty four months
– Mohammad Ahmad Sharifi for thirty four months
