HRANA News Agency – Authorities of Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, forced the prisoners to attend the religious ceremony of A’shora in cold weather, while they lacked warm clothes and Prison officials would not allow jackets and warm clothes to be brought in even by prisoners’ families.

Nasty life conditions in Gonbad-e Kavus Prison – Report
HRANA News Agnecy – Gonbad-e Kavus Prison is one of the prisons often used by State Prison, Security and Corrective Measures Organisations to banish political or non-political prisoners. At the moment, this prison is home to 5 political prisoners whom are kept under the worst living condition.

HRANA News Agency – At the moment 800 prisoners are being kept is Evin Prison’s Ward 8 which has the capacity to hold 500 prisoners.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), there are 800 prisoners held in Ward 8 of Evin prison which has four halls (Halls number 7, 8, 9 , and 10), while this ward has the capacity to hold just 500 prisoners. Authorities in Bandar Abbas prison demanding money from prisoners
HRANA News Agency- Bandar Abbas Central prison officials demand money from inmates for repairs and decorating, and have threatened the prisoners that the prisoner who do not pay these amounts will be transferred to wards of the prisoner with HIV and Hepatitis.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Bandar Abbas Central prison officials demanded 100 thousand Tomans in two times from each of the prisoners in this prison for insulation and installing curtains in the wards. Amin Chalaki released from Evin prison
HRANA News Agency – Amin Chalaki, who was among the arrestees of tenth presidential election’s protesters, released after serving two years and six months in prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amin Chalaki, who was among the protestors that had been arrested after tenth presidential election, was released from ward 350 of Evin prison.
