HRANA News Agency – Keeping Bahareh Hedayat in the prison, despite the execution of the new Islamic penal code and especially article 134 of this act, is illegal and she has to be released.

The Latest List of the Political Prisoners in Women’s Section of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – The following list includes the political prisoners of women’s section of Evin Prison in Tehran. These prisoners have been sentenced in total to more than 190 years of imprisonment.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), there are 22 women in this section, 15 of whom are political and civil activists, 6 are from religious minorities and 1 of them is imprisoned on charge of espionage. Judicial Authorities Reject Parole Requests of 70 Political Prisoners

HRANA News Agency – Judicial authorities rejected the request of seventy political and security prisoners, imprisoned in Evin prison to be released earlier.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), a large number of prisoners in Evin prison, including 13 prisoners of ward 350, were imparted that their conditional release requests have been rejected. The judge ordered two political to return to prison

HRANA News Agency – As getting closer to the 11th presidential election  Behnam Ebrahimzadeh and Didar Raoufi faced denial of renewing their vacations and have to return to prison by the verdict issued by judge.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam Ebrahimzadeh the imprisoned labor activist in ward 350 in Evin prison whom his son is under the medical treatments because of blood cancer, is in vacation to follow up the process and being with his son, has to return to the prison by the verdict issued by judge. Political prisoners in furlough are summoned to return to prison

HRANA News Agency – With getting closer to the presidential election all the political prisoners who are in vacation have been summoned and asked to return to prison.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Shiva Nazar Ahari, Masoud Bastani, Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, Bahareh Hedayat, Ahmad Zeid Abadi and Bahman Ahmadi Amooie have to return to the related prisons by judicial warrant.

Among them Hossein Ronaghi Maleki is in medical furlough because of Kidney problems, prostate and bladder infection and still the medical process has not done.

The latest list of the political prisoners in the Evin prison

HRANA News Agency – There are more than 206 political prisoners in the 350 and women’s sections of the Evin prison. This includes both who have definite sentences and those who are under temporary arrest.
Although the section 350 is one of the public sections of the Evin prison, the prisoners there are prevented from their basic rights like telephone contact or meeting their families.

Amnesty – Iran: Female detainees begin hunger strike after degrading treatment

HRANA News Agency – The nine women hunger striking in Evin Prison say that guards confiscated their belongings. Amnesty International has issued statement on.
The Iranian authorities must protect all detainees and prisoners from harassment and degrading treatment, Amnesty International said today, after nine female political prisoners, including prisoners of conscience, started a hunger strike in response to alleged abuse by prison guards.
